Yes, provided the hook has sufficient load capacity (min. 80 kg) and its opening is reduced to prevent unhooking.

What height should there be between the ground and the nest hammock?

The maximum distance between the bottom of the nest hammock and the ground is 30 cm.

Is the cushion inflatable?

Yes, the seat cushion is inflated via a valve. Open the zipper, place the cushion in the cover with the valve facing forward, inflate and close.

Can I use it for a baby or as a bed?

No, this nest hammock does not replace a cradle or bed. It is prohibited for babies and young children.

What mounting accessories are included?

The swivel hook with pivot and the cushion. The rope or chain and ceiling mountings (screws, anchors) are not included.

This hanging nest is a living and seating accessory for children from 3 years and older. The maximum load capacity is 80 kg.

The hanging nest may only be used by one child at a time.

The hanging nest is designed exclusively for private use in a dry place and is not suitable for commercial purposes.

... is not a substitute for a crib or any other infant bed. The hanging nest is not intended for infants and babies.

SAFETY

• This item may be used by children from 3 years and older, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the item in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Do not allow children or needy people to use this item unattended. The hanging nest is not a toy for children.
• Keep children away from packaging material. Risk of choking if swallowed.

RISK OF INJURIES

• Do not allow your child to use the hanging nest unattended. Help your child with getting in and out of it, if necessary.
• Check the condition of the hanging nest each time before your child uses it.

• Observe the max. load capacity of 80 kg.

• If the hanging nest or other parts used for the suspension are damaged or missing (even partially), they must be repaired or replaced and/or exchanged by a specialist workshop. Only then may the hanging nest be used again.

• Do not make any changes to the item.
• There must be no sharp or hard object within 1 meter. There must be no sharp, hard or pointed edges under the hanging nest.
• The distance between the bottom and the floor must not exceed 30 cm.
• Use only accessories and replacement parts approved by the manufacturer.

BEWARE OF MATERIAL DAMAGE

• Do not use the hanging nest near an open flame and protect it from strong heat sources.
• The hanging nest must not be impregnated, bleached or dyed. These processes damage the fabric and reduce the load capacity. Observe the care symbols, see “Care symbols”.
• Protect the hanging nest from weather effects, e.g. by not exposing it to direct sunlight and protecting it from moisture.
• Do not use the hanging nest to lift loads.
• Protect the seat cushion from sharp or pointed objects. Otherwise, it could be damaged.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS - BEFORE YOU START

• The assembly or suspension of the hanging nest must be carried out by an adult. Keep children away from the assembly area. The assembly or suspension carried out unprofessionally may cause a risk of serious injury.
• Before assembly, make sure that the ceiling has the required load capacity. This also applies to the corresponding parts or fasteners (ceiling latch hooks and, for example, a rope or chain). Seek advice from your specialist dealer, if necessary.
• If you need to drill: before drilling, check the surface for piping.
• Check that the planned location is really suitable. At the planned location, check that ...
  ... the ceiling has sufficient load capacity,
  ... there are no obstacles around: minimum distance is 1 metre,
  ... no doors protrude into the area of the hanging nest when opening,
  ... the ground under the hanging nest is ideally "soft", for example a carpet.
• In most cases, you also need a suitable rope or chain with sufficient load capacity (min. 80 kg) depending on the ceiling height.
• Assembly material such as screws, dowels, rope or chain are not included.

1. Turn the seat inside out and open the zip.
2. Place the seat cushion in the fabric cover with the valve in the front and pump it up with a pump or your breathing air.
3. Close the zip and turn the seat back to normal.

1. Attach a latch hook or U-profile piece with sufficient strength to the ceiling. Latch hooks must only have a small opening so that the hanging nest cannot slip out of the latch hook during later use. If you wish to use an already existing suspension device, check that it has sufficient load capacity.

2. Hang up the hanging nest.

3. Check that the hanging nest is really safe and has sufficient load capacity.

4. Check the distance to the floor.

Pay attention to the following:

• The above figure shows an attachment option. Other attachment options are possible, for example, with a chain instead of a rope.
• Never hang up the hanging nest without the hook with swivel. It prevents twisting of the suspended hanging nest.

CHECKING

...the condition of the hanging nest and other parts used. If the rope is worn or brittle, it must be replaced immediately. The hanging nest and all fasteners may be used again only when they are in perfect and safe condition,

CLEANING

- Minor stains on the hanging nest and seat cushion cover can be removed with a cloth and some water.

Use a mild detergent, if necessary.

• In case of major soiling, you can clean the entire hanging nest (without seat cushion, swivel, etc.) in the washing machine. Observe the care instructions on the label (see chapter “Care symbols”).
• The hanging nest may only be hung up again and used when it is completely dry.

STORING

• Clean the hanging nest before storing it. Afterwards, let it dry completely.
• Store it in a dry and frost-free place.
