CHILDREN! Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please keep children away from the product at all times. This product may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the prod- uct and understand the associated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user main- tenance should not be performed by children without supervi- sion.16 GB/IE Avoid the danger of death from electric shock! Never allow the product to come into contact with water or other liquids. Before using the product, ensure that the available mains volt- age corresponds with the required operating voltage for the product (230 V∼). Always check the product and the mains supply for damage before connecting it to the mains. A damaged product repre- sents the danger of death from electric shock. Do not use the product if you detect any damage. The product cannot be repaired! Should the product be damaged, the product must be rendered useless and must be disposed off appropriately. The LEDs cannot be replaced by end users. If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, they must be repaired by qualified electrician or the entire product must be replaced. Prevent fire and injury hazards RISK OF BURNS! Ensure that the product has been switched off and has cooled before touching it, to avoid burn injuries. CAUTION! RISK OF FIRE! Never expose the magnifier to direct sunlight or other light sources. Never leave an open magnifier unattended. Doing so presents a fire hazard due to bundled light rays and con- centrated heat. The product may only be used with the built- in LED control gear. The product continues to draw a small amount of power even if the product is off as long as product is connected to supply mains. To switch the product off completely, the mains switch should be switched off. Please note the product is not dimmable. Before use Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product.17 GB/IE Insert the screw clamp

onto a table top ≤ 6 cm in thick- ness and secure the screw clamp

by turning the screw clockwise (Fig. C). Insert the articulated arm

into the round hole on the bracket

and secure by tightening the wing bolt

clockwise (Fig. D). Verify the articulated arm

is firmly tightened in the bracket

Using the product Plug the mains plug of the product into a properly installed socket. Move the ON / OFF switch

into the I position to switch the product on. Move the ON / OFF switch into the 0 position to switch the product off. Adjusting the product Never use force when adjusting the product. The product can be adjusted in different ways:

  • The lamp head is pivot-mounted inside the ball joint
  • After loosening the locking screw

you can adjust the lamp head up or down. Tighten the locking screw

after adjusting the light to the desired position.

  • The individual parts of the articulated arm

can be moved by the joints

Using the magnifier Lift the cover

SHOCK! For electrical safety, never clean the product with water or other liquids, or immerse it in water. Switch the product off before cleaning and unplug from the mains. Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning. Clean the magnifier with a soft, dry cloth. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
