USE! WHEN PASSING THIS PRODUCT ON TO
DLERS AND SMALL CHILDREN! Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please keep the product out of the reach of children at all times. This product may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with re- duced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the as- sociated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by chil- dren without supervision. DANGER OF SUFFOCATION! Children could swallow and choke on small included parts (e.g. screws). Keep children away from the work area during assembly. This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced by end user. If the LEDs fail at the end of their lives, they must be repaired by qualified electrician or the entire product must be replaced. The external flexible cable or cord of this prod- uct cannot be replaced; if the cord is dam- aged, the product shall be destroyed. Danger to life by electric shock Always check the product for damage before connecting it to the mains. Never use the prod- uct if it shows any signs of damage. Protect the mains cable against sharp edges, mechanical stresses and hot surfaces. Always unplug the mains plug from the socket before installation, dismantling or cleaning. Disconnect the product from the mains supply if it is not going to be used for some time (e.g. holiday). Prior to installation, verify that the mains volt- age on site corresponds with the operating voltage required for the product (230 V∼ 50 Hz). Otherwise do not install the product.
CAUTION! DANGER OF BURN INJU-
RIES! To prevent burns, verify the product is switched off and has cooled down for at least 15 min before touching it. The product can become very hot. The accessible surface, especially heat shrink, is very hot when the lamp is operating. 1 .0 m FIRE HAZARD! Fit the product so that it is at least 1.0 m away from the material to be illuminated. Exces- sive heat can result in a fire.
CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Broken lamp glass must be replaced before any further use is made of the product. The product is only suited for use with the built- in LED control gear. The product continues to draw a small amount of power even if the product is off as long as product is connected to supply mains. To switch the device off completely, unplug the plug
from socket.8 GB/IE/NI The plug can only be connected with a corre- sponding socket with the same IP in order to keep the protective degree against dust/ water. For HG04369-BS, plug for indoor use only. Before installation Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Place the spotlight
on a stable substrate with handle
Check the stability of the spotlight
Align the spot into the desired direction. For this, you may need to slacken the screw of the hinge joint
. After alignment, tighten the screw of the hinge joint
again, to ensure a secure hold of the spotlight
into the socket. Switch on the product with switch
Note: - Insert the plug to the corresponding IPX4 socket only during outdoor use. - or the plug should be for indoor use if no corresponding IPX4 socket can be found. Connect the plug into the socket of spotlight Open the socket cover
behind the product. Connect an additional item by plugging it into the socket of the spotlight
(see Fig.). Close the socket cover
Note: Make sure the addition item with water proof plug. Note: Do not connect any appliance with a total output of > 2500 W. Otherwise there is the risk of a fire. For HG04369/HG04369-FR: The socket of spotlight is only IPX4 protected. Insert only corresponding IPX4 plug only for outdoor use. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Water may enter the product if incorrect plug is used For HG04369-BS: The socket is only IPX4 protected. The socket can only protected from water when the cover is completely closed. Water may enter the product if the cover is not corrected posited. Cleaning and care Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. Otherwise the product can be damaged. Remove the plug
and allow the product to cool down. Clean the product with a lint-free, slightly moist cloth and mild cleaning agent. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
