Frequently Asked Questions - JNIPS238FHD200FHSPCAMO Japannext

How to connect the monitor to my computer?
Make sure the monitor and computer are turned off. Connect the HDMI or DisplayPort cable to both devices, then plug in the power adapter. Turn on the monitor first, then the computer. Do not connect HDMI and DP cables at the same time.
Why is the screen black even though the power indicator is on?
Check that the screen saver is not active. Ensure brightness and contrast are not at minimum. Check cable connections and that the computer is on. Try with another cable if possible.
How to adjust display settings (brightness, contrast)?
Press the 'M' button to open the OSD menu. Navigate with ▲/▼ buttons, select 'Image quality adjustment', then adjust brightness and contrast from 0 to 100. Confirm with 'M'.
What resolution and refresh rate can I use?
The native resolution is 1920x1080 (FHD). The maximum refresh rate is 200 Hz. To benefit from 200 Hz, your graphics card and cable must support it. Preferably use a high-quality DisplayPort or HDMI cable.
How to clean the monitor screen?
Turn off the monitor and unplug it. Use a soft, dry cloth specially designed for LCD screens. Never use alcohol, acetone, or abrasive cleaners. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
Does the monitor support HDR?
Yes, the monitor has an HDR mode (Auto/Off). To activate it, go to the OSD menu under 'HDR Mode'. Make sure your source and content are HDR compatible.
What to do if pixels remain permanently lit or unlit?
A small number of defective pixels is normal for LCD screens. If the number is excessive, contact customer service. You can also try turning off the monitor for a few hours to see if it improves.
How to enable FreeSync?
In the OSD menu, go to 'Others' and set 'FreeSync' to 'On'. FreeSync requires an AMD compatible graphics card and a suitable DisplayPort or HDMI cable. Note that FreeSync cannot be used simultaneously with MPRT.
Can I mount the monitor on an articulating arm?
Yes, the monitor is VESA compatible. Use the included VESA spacer to install the bracket. Remove the original stand and screw the arm to the VESA holes on the back.
