How to set the time on the CK 1719 alarm clock?

Use the time setting wheel on the back. Turn it only in the direction of the arrow (clockwise) to advance the time.

How to set the alarm?

Turn the alarm time setting wheel in the direction of the arrow. Then slide the On/Off switch to the back to activate the alarm function.

How to use the Snooze function?

When the alarm sounds, press the Snooze/Light button (top). The ringing stops and restarts after 5 minutes. You can repeat this process several times.

Why isn't my alarm clock ringing?

Check that the On/Off switch is in the back position (activated). Also ensure the batteries are correctly inserted and sufficiently charged.

How to turn on the dial light?

Press the Snooze/Light button. The dial illuminates for about 10 seconds.

How does the automatic night light work?

The alarm clock is equipped with a light sensor. In darkness, the dial light automatically turns on. This function cannot be deactivated and the brightness is preset.

What type of batteries to use and how to replace them?

Use two R6 (AA) 1.5 V batteries. Open the compartment at the back, respect the polarity (+/-) indicated, and close the cover by pressing until it clicks. Replace batteries when the hands stop.

Intended Use

This alarm clock is designed for private use in dry indoor environments.

Safety

- This item can be used by children 8 years of age and above, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities or lacking experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the item and understand the dangers that may arise.

- Children must not play with the item.

- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are being supervised.

- Batteries, when swallowed, can be life-threatening. Keep the item and

batteries out of reach of small children. If batteries have been swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

DANGER for Children

- Keep children away from packaging material. Risk of choking if swallowed.

RISK of fire/burning and/or explosion

• Risk of explosion if batteries are improperly replaced. Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent battery type. Observe the “Technical Data”.
• Batteries must not be recharged, reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited. Otherwise there is an increased risk of explosion and leakage; furthermore, gases may escape!

- Avoid contact of the battery fluid with skin, eyes, and mucosa. In case of contact, rinse the affected areas right away with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor immediately.

BEWARE of material damage

- Protect the alarm clock from strong shocks, vibrations and moisture.

- Remove the battery from the unit when it is exhausted or when the alarm clock will not be used for a longer period of time. This prevents damage that may be caused by leakage.

- When inserting and changing batteries, pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).

- Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions, for example, by storing them on radiators or under direct sunlight. Increased risk of leakage!

• Clean the battery and device contacts, as needed, before inserting the battery.
• Use only batteries of the same type.
• Do not make any changes to the item. Only allow repairs to be carried out at a specialist workshop. Repairs carried out incorrectly can considerably endanger the user.
• Some varnishes or furniture care products may possibly attack and soften the material of the slip-resistant foot. To avoid unwanted traces, place a non-slip pad under the product, if necessary.

Start-up

1. Remove the battery compartment cover upwards.
2. Insert the batteries as shown on the bottom of the battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover and press it down. The battery compartment lid must engage audibly.

Notes on changing the battery:

- When the hands stop, batteries must be replaced.

- Only use the battery type specified in the "Technical Data".

- Dispose of old batteries in an environmentally friendly manner, see “Disposal”.

Setting the time

-Use the time knob to set the time. Turn the knob only in the direction of the arrow ⇌.

Alarm

Setting and enabling the alarm time

1. Use the alarm knob to set the time. Turn the knob only in the direction of the arrow.
2. Slide the on/off switch on the side backwards to switch on the alarm function.

Being awakened

At the set time, you will be woken by an alarm signal, which will become more intense as the waking time increases.

Auto-stop function

If you do not press a button, the alarm switches off automatically after 45 minutes.

Repeat alarm (snooze function)

-Press the button 1x when the alarm sounds. After 5 minutes, the device switches on again and wakes you up again. This procedure can be repeated multiple times.

Turning the alarm off

-Slide the on/off switch on the side forward.

Light

Dial lighting

-Press the button to light up the dial for about 10 seconds.

Night light function

This alarm clock has a night light sensor. The sensor ensures that the dial light switches on automatically in the dark and lights up easily.

• The night light function cannot be disabled.
• The default brightness cannot be changed.

Cleaning

Do not immerse the alarm clock in water or other liquids. Do not use rough, scratching or abrasive cleaning agents.

- If necessary, use a soft, dry cloth, or a slightly moistened one to wipe the alarm clock.

Fault and remedy

No function.

- Are the batteries empty or have they been inserted incorrectly?

Alarm clock does not wake.

- To enable the alarm function, be sure to slide back the on/off switch.
