- WARNING! This barbecue will become very hot, do not move it during operation.
- WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or re-lighting! Use only firelighters complying to EN 1860-3!
- Do not cook before the fuel has a coating of ash.
- WARNING! Keep children and pets away.
- Do not use indoors!
- Use charcoal, no briquettes.
- Do not wash or soak the main body in water. It can cause serious damage to the product. Simply wipe the inside and outside of the main body to clean it.
- Ensure the product is far from other sources of fire and pay close attention when lighting up the product.
- Do not allow children to light it up.
- Risks of burns and a fire while cooking.
- Do not use the product on flammable surfaces or surfaces that can be damaged easily.
- Not to be used in restricted areas.
- Use the product on a flat place to prevent accidental drops or slip which may cause a fire.
- Practice with caution when you move the product after the charcoal has been ignited. If the product is dropped, it may cause a fire or injury.
- To extinguish a charcoal fire, do not pour water or any other form of liquid into the product, especially into the main body.

a) Insert the batteries (AA x 4) into the battery compartment in the fan unit which can be taken out from the base.
b) Or connect a battery pack to the mini-USB interface

- Switch on the fan in the main body by turning the fire control switch clockwise to maximum.
- Squeeze the ignition gel into the gel container (about 20ml per time) and light it. Caution! Do not spray lighting gel in the opening of the fan. This causes irreversible damage.
- Use the gripper to place the charcoal container onto the fire in the gel container. (Put charcoal no more than 250g into the charcoal container for one time.)
- Place the grill plate on the top. Spread a thin layer of oil on the grill plate before grilling. Turn the fire control switch back to 25% to 50% power after 3 minutes avoiding the grill plate to overheat. The appliance is ready to barbecue.

By putting power to 100% this heats up quickly and after it's hot, switch it back to 25-50%.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Let the charcoal burn up completely and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
- Grill plate, charcoal container, gel container and oil collector are dishwasher safe, or you can clean them with standard washing liquid. Rinse and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wipe the interior and exterior of the main body with a soft cloth.

Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.

Remove batteries from the appliance during storage of a long period.

Before delivery our devices are subjected to rigorous quality control. If, despite all care, damage has occurred during production or transportation, please return the device to your dealer. In addition to statutory legal rights, the purchaser has an option to claim under the terms of the following guarantee:
For the purchased device we provide 2 years guarantee, commencing from the day of sale. If you have a defective product, you can directly go back to the point of purchase.
Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by third parties or the fitting of non-original parts are not covered by this guarantee. Always keep your receipt, without the receipt you can't claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable. Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
