How to open the lid automatically?
Place your hand about 15 cm above the lid. The infrared sensor detects your hand and opens the lid automatically. It closes after 5 seconds or stays open if your hand or an object is still in the detection zone.
What to do if the sensor does not respond?
First check the power switch at the back of the lid: it must be on. Make sure the batteries are properly installed and not depleted. Avoid exposing the trash can to direct sunlight, as this may interfere with the sensor.
How to change the batteries?
Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the lid. Insert 6 AA batteries respecting polarity, then close the compartment. Always replace all 6 batteries at the same time.
How to clean the trash can?
Never use water to clean the trash can, as it contains electronic components. Clean it with a slightly damp sponge or cloth.
Can the trash can stay open?
Yes, press the OPEN button on the sensor window to keep the lid open. To close it, press the CLOSE button. Automatic opening will then be reactivated.
What types of trash bags to use?
We recommend using 50-liter trash bags. For the small 4 L compartment, use suitable smaller bags.
How to empty the different compartments?
The right compartment (40 L) is removable: remove it from the top. The bottom drawer (25 L) pulls out like a drawer on wheels. The small left compartment (4 L) is also removable. You can install a removable wall to separate the upper space.
Can I use the trash can without batteries?
No, the device requires 6 AA batteries to operate. Without batteries, the sensor and automatic opening mechanism cannot be used.
What to do if the lid gets stuck?
Never force the lid. Check that no object is blocking the sensor window. Make sure the batteries are sufficiently charged. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
How to recycle the device at the end of its life?
Do not dispose of the device with household waste. Deposit it at a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment. Used batteries must be removed and recycled separately in accordance with local regulations.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Do not clean the trash bin with water, as electronic components are contained in the product. Only clean the trash bin with a slightly damp sponge or cloth.
- Do not place the device in direct sunlight, otherwise the sensor may not react.
• Do not force the lid during opening.
• Disassembly, repair and modification of the product are prohibited. - When the battery is empty, always replace all 6 batteries at once.
- Do not place any objects on the lid of the trash bin.

OPERATION
- Open the battery cover on the bottom of the cover and insert 6 AA batteries. Then close the battery cover.
- Turn on the power switch located on the back of the cover.
- If you want to throw the garbage away, move your hand about 15 cm over the lid and it will open. The lid closes automatically after 5 seconds. The cover remains open as long as your hand or an object (bin liner) is in the sensor area.
- If you want the lid to remain open, press the OPEN button on the sensor window. Press the CLOSE button to close the cover again. The automatic opening will then be active again.
- Pull out the bottom drawer to place recycling waste. The top bin is used for non-recyclable household waste.
• We recommend the use of 50 litre bin liners.
