  • This device may be only used by children 8 years old or older and persons with limited physical, sensory and mental capabilities and / or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they have been instructed in use of the device by a responsible person who understands the associated risks.

  • Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.

  • If you wish to stop the kettle before the water has boiled, you must switch o the appliance before removing the kettle from its base.
  • This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  • Our warranty does not cover water kettles that malfunction resulting from failure to descale.

Now you can remove the kettle from its stand. If you want to stop the boiling process before the water boils, press the on/o switch down again. As soon as the water boils, the kettle will turn itself o. If the kettle is lled with little water, the boiling process will take longer.13

Before using the kettle for the rst time, wipe the inside and outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. First use

  • Place the stand on a suitable surface. The kettle must be dry before use.
  • Wind up any excess power cord.
  • Fill with the required amount of water, but not above the MAX mark.
  • Close the cover until it clicks into place. The automatic shut-o will work properly only then. Rub the outside of the boiler dry.
  • Place the kettle on the stand.
  • Plug the power plug into a power outlet.
  • Press the on/o switch down to the ON position. The power indicator lights up and the water is heated.
  • The on/o switch only engages when the kettle is on the stand
  • Do not consume the water that is boiled rst. Pour it away.
  • Be careful not to spill water on the stand.
  • When you want to reheat water, check the water level (above 0.75 L), add more water if necessary, put the kettle back on the stand and press the on/o switch down to the ON position. You can turn o the kettle when the desired temperature has been reached.
  • When lling, make sure that the kettle is completely lled with hot steam. Keep your face, hands, etc. away from the opening.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always disconnect the water boiler from the power supply before cleaning. Allow the water boiler to cool before cleaning.
  • Never clean the kettle or stand under running water or submerge any part under water.
  • Periodically rinse the inside of the kettle with clean water.
  • Clean the exterior with a damp cloth only. Do not use strong or abrasive agents.14
