MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

(for Europe only) As the manufacturer, Bugaboo International BV, which has its principal place of business in Amsterdam (hereinafter: “Bugaboo”), supplies its Bugaboo products (which will hereinafter be referred together and separately as “product”) under warranty, subject to the following conditions:

1. The manufacturer’s warranty period is 24 months, from the date of purchase as indicated on

the sales receipt. The remaining guarantee for the original product will apply for a replacement part or product or a repaired product.

2. This manufacturer’s warranty applies only in the region (USA and Canada or Europe or

Russia or Australia and New Zealand or Asia) in which the product was purchased. Bugaboo guarantees that the product will be in compliance only with the statutory provisions and/or government regulations that apply in the region in which the product was sold. Bugaboo reserves the right to apply a divergent manufacturer’s guarantee for those specic regions.

3. This limited manufacturer’s warranty only applies for a product that is purchased for

private use. This limited manufacturer’s warranty expressly excludes products obtained for commercial purpose or use, including, but not limited to products for commercial rental.

4. The manufacturer’s warranty provides a right to repair unless Bugaboo is of the opinion that

replacement or return of the product is necessary. Bugaboo will bear the expense and risk of transport from and to the retailer (hereinafter: “the retailer”) where you purchased the product, provided the repair is covered by manufacturer’s warranty.

5. Bugaboo reserves the right to stop manufacturing a particular model, color, fabric or

accessory, and therefore it will replace a part with a similar product, color or fabric during the manufacturer’s warranty period.

6. To claim under this manufacturer’s warranty you must provide Bugaboo with the following: a

copy of the dated receipt of purchase, a clear description of the complaint and the defective product and/or photographs of the defective part or product.

7. The manufacturer’s warranty is not transferable and may therefore only be invoked by the

EN22 WHAT IS COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER’S GUARANTEE? The manufacturer’s guarantee applies in respect of the product and covers the following:

• all manufacturing defects in the frame;

• seams in the covering;

• self-adhesive straps; and

• colorfastness. THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY WILL VOID IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:

• If you have made or arranged for modications or repairs to be made without rst having received written permission from Bugaboo or the retailer.

• Defects resulting from neglect or an accident and/or from any use or maintenance other than that indicated in the user guide.

• If the serial number has been damaged or removed.

• Damage to the product caused by normal wear and tear.

• Incorrect mounting or installation of third-party parts that are incompatible with the product.

• Inadvertent or unintentional damage, abnormal use or insucient care.

• Improper storage / product care.

• Deformation of the fabric or mesh due to normal daily use of the product.

• Damage due to improper use or due to failure to follow user guide.

• Damage due to repairs carried out by unauthorized persons or due to improper disassembly of the product.

• Transport damage (during air transport or other modes of transport): carefully inspect your Bugaboo product after it was shipped by the airline (or other carrier) and in case of any damage immediately le a claim with the carrier.

• Customer dissatisfaction with the product in terms of t, weight, functionality, color or design. IMPORTANT The manufacturer’s warranty period for this product is 24 months from the purchase date indicated on the sales receipt. Save the sales receipt in a safe place and make a copy of it. If you submit a claim under this manufacturer’s warranty you must rst contact your retailer. For complaints that arise outside the manufacturer’s warranty period you must also contact your retailer or you can contact one of our service centers. REPLACEABLE PARTS We pride ourselves on creating products based on high quality and standards. That’s why only genuine Bugaboo parts or parts which have been approved by Bugaboo should ever be used in conjunction with the Bugaboo product. 1. WARNING: Be aware of the risk of open re and other sources of

strong heat, such as electric bar res, gas res, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot (crib and suspended bassinet bed).

2. WARNING: Do not use the cot / playpen if any part is broken, torn

or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.

3. WARNING: Do not leave anything in the cot or

place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, pillows, blankets, stued animals, mattress or padding.

4. WARNING: Do not use more than one mattress in the travel cot

and bassinet inlay (crib and suspended bassinet bed).

5. The cot is ready for use, only when the locking mechanisms are

engaged. Check carefully that the locks are fully engaged before using the folding cot.

6. If you leave the child unattended in the cot, always make sure that

the foldable side is closed.

7. The lowest position of the cot is the safest. The base should always

be used in the lowest position as soon as the child is old enough to sit, kneel or to pull itself up.

8. All assembly ttings should always be tightened properly and that

ttings should be checked regularly and retightened as necessary.

9. WARNING: Entrapment Hazard - Ensure that all fastening devices,

Velcro and zippers are secured properly per user instructions.

10. To prevent injury from falls, the cot shall no longer be used when the

child is able to climb out of the cot.

11. WARNING: Only use the mattress sold with this cot, do not add a

second mattress on this one, suocation hazards. The internal size of the cot is 51 by 91 cm.

12. WARNING: Do not place the playpen close to an open re or other

14. WARNING: Ensure that the playpen is fully erected and all the locking

mechanisms engaged before placing your child in this playpen.

15. The product (travel cot/playpen) is suitable for children from 0-2

years of age, until the child reaches 89 cm/35 in or 15 kg/33 lbs, whichever comes rst.

16. The bassinet inlay for the cot is suitable from birth until 9 kg/20 lbs,

or when the child begins to push up on hands and knees, whichever comes rst.

17. Do not use accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer.

18. WARNING: Bassinet inlay is not a playpen. Do not let child play in
