SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove any of the covers. This device contains parts that are not accessible to the user.
• Do not drop metal objects on this device.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the device.
• Only use accessories and add-on parts that have been approved by the manufacturer.
• Pull the plug out of the socket if there is a thunderstorm, a storm or if you are not going to use the device for a long period of time. This way, you can prevent damage.
• Have repairs carried out by qualified specialists only.
• Repair is required if the device has been damaged in any way, that is, if objects have been dropped on it, if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Opening the cover exposes you to the risk of electric shock and other personal injury.

ASSEMBLY

Insert the hose (E) from below into the hand pump (D) and screw it there with the threaded side. Be careful not to overtighten the thread.

Mount the hand pump on top of the small barrel and screw it to the barrel with the 3 wood screws (G) (use the pre-drilled holes for orientation). Place the pump (H) in the large barrel and lead the power cable out. Pour enough fresh water into the barrel (about half full). Plug the water hose onto the pump valve. Then connect the power plug to a mains outlet. The pump will start working after a short while.

NOTES ON OPERATION

Special notes on the pump

Note: Make sure that the power cord runs lower than where the plug attaches to the mains outlet. This prevents water from flowing along the cable into the socket.

• To avoid electric shock, connect the plug only to a grounded socket.
• Do not change the plug.
• Check the voltage on the product label before use. Ensure that you only connect the pump to sockets with the appropriate voltage.
• Never pump flammable liquids.
• Do not use water that is warmer than 35^ C ( 95^ F ).
• The pump must be supplied via a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current of no more than 30mA .

Notes on the pump function

A clogged or dirty intake surface will significantly reduce performance. When using the pump on a dirty surface, lift it slightly to reduce the amount of dirt touching the inlet. If a slower flow is desired, adjust this on the flow control lever on the side of the pump.

Do not run the pump if it is not immersed in water. This could damage the pump. Always immerse the pump in water first before plugging it into the socket. It is normal for there to be air in the pump and hoses when it is first plugged in. Pull out the plug several times and plug it in again until the water starts to flow.

If the left-hand image (crossed-out wheeled bin) is on the product, European Directive 2012/19/EU applies. These products must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Find out about the local regulations on separate collection of electrical and electronic equipment. Follow local regulations and do not dispose of old appliances with household waste. Disposing of old devices in accordance with regulations protects the environment and the health of your fellow human beings from possible negative consequences. Material recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials.
