How to install the CEH6052FULLB1 hood?

Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Fix the wall bracket at least 70 cm above the hob. Use the supplied plugs and screws. For exhaust, connect the 150 mm (or 120 mm with adapter) duct to the outside. Follow the steps in the installation manual.

How to clean the grease filters?

Grease filters must be cleaned monthly. Remove them and wash them in soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry them completely before reinstalling. Never use abrasive products or metal scouring pads.

When to replace the charcoal filter?

The charcoal filter must be replaced at least once a year, or more often if the hood is used intensively. It is attached by turning clockwise. Note that the charcoal filter slightly reduces suction power.

What to do if the hood does not turn on?

First check the power supply and the fuse. Make sure the plug is properly inserted. If the problem persists, replacement of the cable or the LED lamp must be carried out by an authorized professional.

How to use the timer?

Simultaneously press the + and - buttons (or on the TC-2 model) for 1 second. The display flashes, and the hood automatically stops after 5 minutes. A beep sounds at the end.

What distance to maintain between the hood and the hob?

For an electric hob, the minimum distance is 700 mm. For a gas hob, it is 800 mm. Respect these distances to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Can I use the hood in recirculation mode?

Yes, the hood can operate in recirculation mode. In this case, you must install the charcoal filters (supplied) and do not connect the exhaust duct. The air is filtered and then returned to the room.

How to adjust the motor speeds?

The control panel offers 3 speeds: low (light cooking), medium (standard cooking), high (heavy steam). Use the corresponding buttons. Do not press multiple buttons simultaneously.

What to do if the hood makes abnormal noise?

Abnormal noise may come from incorrect installation, clogged filters, or an object stuck. Check the wall fixings, clean the grease filters, and ensure the exhaust duct is not blocked.

How to maintain the exterior of the hood?

Use a soft cloth soaked in warm soapy water. Never use a steam cleaner, abrasive products, or hard brushes. Dry with a clean cloth. Before any cleaning, unplug the hood.

- Proper ventilation of the room must be provided when the hood is used simultaneously with appliances using gas or other fuel.

- Air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhaustingfumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. The rules concerning the evacuation of the air must be respected.

• Warning: The hood may stop working during electrostatic discharge (e.g.lightning). This involves no risk of damage. Switch off the electricity supply to the hood and reconnect after one minute.
• To avoid the risk of fire, clean the metal fi regularly and closely watch and regulate pan containing hot oil.
• Do not flame under the range hood.
• Do not use the hood if it shows signs of or imperfection. Contact customer services.
• When installing the appliance, make sure that the following distances between the top of cooker or hob and the lowest part of the cooker hood must be observed:

Gas hobs: 800mm

Electric hobs: 700mm

Preparation before installation

ATTENTION

Carefully remove the carton. Wear gloves to protect your hands from sharp edges.

Installation (Mode extraction)

If the wall has an opening to the outside, your hood may be connected as shown in the diagram below using the suitable

exhaust pipe (not supplied), such as ductwork, flexible aluminum or other non-flammable material with an inside diameter of less than 150mm.

Recommendations for wall mounting

Do not make any changes to the unit or its mounting bracket on the wall!

Before installing the device, check the condition of the wall on which it will be fixed: the wall must be in good condition, it must not show any damage (cracks, sagging humidity, ...).

Do not drill a hole near old holes, even plugged It is imperative that you consult a building professional to use the anchoring system (screws, dowels, etc.)

Do not modify the holes for securing the unit or its mounting bracket to the wall.

INSTALLATION

Before installing, make sure the unit is not plugged into an electrical outlet.

The hood must be placed at least 70 cm above the hob.

Step1.Drill 3 holes (Φ8mm to adapt your wall pl to place the bracket. Screw and tighten the brac to the wall with the screws 3 Screws (ST4x30m and 3 wall plugs (not supplied).

Step2. Place the range hood and hook it by using the two notches on the wall bracket.

Step 3. (If the extraction installation mode is chosen) Place the ∅150-∅153mm plastic pipe (supplied) on the air outlet as shown below. If the size of your plastic pipe is ∅120 - ∅123mm, you must firstly assemble the adapter to the air outlet, shown below.

Step 4. Screw the lower chimney bracket on the lower chimney by using 2 screws(ST4x8mm).

Step 5. Install the lower chimney on the appliance and mark the holes position on the wall.

Step 6. Remove the lower chimney, then drill hol in the wall: hole with diameter 4 mm screw.

Step7. Install the lower chimney on appliance again, then screw it to the wall with 2 screws diameter 4 mm and the corresponding wall plugs (not supplied). Also screw the chimney and the hood with 2 screws(ST4x8mm)

Step 8.Fix the upper chimney bracket on the upper chimney by 2 screws .ST4 x 8 mm Step 9.Pull the upper chimney upwards to the target height and mark the holes on the wall.

Step 10. Release the upper chimney and then dr holes on the wall.

Step 11.Pull out the upper chimney again, then it to the wall with 2 screws ST4x30mm.

Recycling Mode:

If you do not have an outlet to the outside, plastic pipe is not required and the installation is similar to above. And you need to assemble the carbon filters which are used to trap odors.

Place the carbon filter into the unit and turn it clockwise. Repeat the same on the other side.

NOTE:

Make sure the filter is securely locked. Otherwise it can fall and cause danger.

When charcoal filters are used, the suction power is decreased.

The carbon filter must be replaced at least once a year depending on how frequent the cooker hood used.

Regarding the instructions for the cleaning and maintenance of the appliance, please refer to below paragraphs of this manual.

Attention! Before cleaning switch the unit off and pull the plug.

Regular Cleaning

Use a soft cloth moistened with hand-warm mildly soap water or household cleaning detergent. Never use meta pads, chemical, abrasive material or stiff brush to clean the unit.

Monthly Cleaning for Grease Filter

ESSENTIAL: Clean the filter every month can prevent any risk of fire.

The filter collects grease, smoke and dust. It is directly affecting the efficiency of the cooker hood. If not cleaned, the grease residue (potential flammable) will saturate on the filter. Clean it with household cleaning detergent.

CAUTION! The lamp must not be covered by thermal insulation or other materials.

NOTICE! Only switch on the lights while the appliance is operating. Do not switch on the to lighten the room.
