When using electrical appliances, basic safety precaution should always be followed including the following:
- These instructions are for your safety. Please read through them thoroughly prior to installation.
- This appliance has been designed for use as an exhausting (air evacuation to the outside) or filtering (indoor air re-cycling) hood.
- All installation work must be carried out by a competent person or qualified electrician.
- This appliance must be installed correctly by suitably qualified person, strictly following the manufacturer's instructions.
- ATTENTION: Accessible parts may become hot during use.

The Manufacturer highly recommends that this appliance be kept out of the reach of babies and small children.
- This appliance can be used by children age from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Regularly check the power plug and power cord for signs of damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer or separated remote-control system.

Warning: When using for extraction, refer to the national regulations for building ventilation systems. Do not connect the exhaust pipe to VMC type ventilation system, to a flue (chimney, boiler, ...). Also check the absence of disturbance with the ventilation of the roof when there are gas appliances (water heater, gas stove, ...). If in doubt, use the hood in recycling mode.
- Proper ventilation of the room must be provided when the hood is used simultaneously with appliances using gas or other fuel.

Air must not be discharged intoa flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels. The rules concerning the evacuation of the air must be respected.

Warning: The hood may stop working during electrostatic discharge (e.g.lightning). This involves no risk of damage. Switch off the electricity supply to the hood and reconnect after one minute.
- To avoid the risk of fire, clean the metal filter regularly and closely watch and regulate pans containing hot oil.
- Do not flame under the range hood.
- Do not use the hood if it shows signs of door imperfection. Contact customer services.
- When installing the appliance, make sure that the following distances between the top of cooker or hob and the lowest part of the cooker hood must be observed:
Gas hobs: 800mm Electric hobs: 700mm

Preparation before installation

ATTENTION :
Carefully remove the carton. Wear gloves to protect your hands from sharp edges.

ATTENTION :
Remove the protective film from the product before putting it into service.
Unpacking the device and disposing of packaging materials
Remove all packaging materials around the device, as well as the protective elements located inside the compartments of the device.
The cardboard packaging and paper sheets are recyclable. They should be disposed of in the designated recycling bins.
- Other packaging materials (adhesive tape, cable ties, etc.) should be disposed of with household waste. For more information:

After unpacking the various parts, ensure that the stove is in good condition
Do not use the stove if there is any doubt about its condition, consult qualified personnel.
The packaging components (polystyrene, bags, cardboard, etc.) must be kept out of the reach of children, as they pose potential hazards.
Installation (Mode extraction)
1. Extraction Mode (to the outside):
If the wall has an opening to the outside hood may be connected as shown in this diagram below using the suitable exhaust (not supplied), such as ductwork, flexible aluminum or other nonflammable material an inside diameter of less than 150mm .

2. Recirculation Mode (Charcoal Filters):
If you do not have an external vent, the hood must be used with charcoal filters. The installation of the product remains similar to described in the installation chapter.

Place the charcoal filter in the unit as show the diagram below, then secure it by turning clockwise. Repeat the same operatic install the charcoal filter on the other side of the unit.

NOTE:
Make sure the filter is securely locked. Otherwise, it can fall and cause danger
When charcoal filters are used, the suction power is decreased.
The carbon filter must be replaced at least once a year depending on how frequent the cooker hood used.
Recommendations for wall mountig
Do not make any changes to the unit or its mounting bracket on the wall!
Before installing the device, check the condition of the wall on which it will be fixed: the wall must be in good condition, it must not show any damage (cracks, sagging, humidity, ...).
Do not drill a hole near old holes, even plugged
It is imperative that you consult a building professional to use the anchoring system (screws, dowels, etc.) appropriate to the material that constitutes your wall, as well as to the weight of the appliance. Observe the diameter of the fixing screws indicated in this manual.
Do not modify the holes for securing the unit or its mounting bracket to the wall.
Drill the wall with a drill of the appropriate size for the anchoring system. Remove debris and dust.
Regularly check the mounting points of the device on the wall. Tighten them if necessary.
INSTALLATION
Before installing, make sure the unit is not plugged into an electrical outlet.
The hood must be placed at least 70 cm above the hob.

Step1.Drill 3 holes (Φ8mm to adapt your wall pluto place the bracket. Screw and tighten the bracketo the wall with the screws 3 Screws (ST4x30mmand 3 wall plugs (not supplied).

Step2. Place the range hood and hook it by using the two notches on the wall bracket

Step 3. (If the extraction installation mode is chosen) Place the 150 - 153mm plastic pipe (supplied) on the air outlet as shown below. If the size of your plastic pipe is 120 - 123mm , you must firstly assemble the adapter to the air outlet, as shown below.

Step 4.Screw the lower chimney bracket on the lower chimney by using 2 screws(ST4x8mm)

Step 5.Install the lower chimney on the appliance and mark the holes position on the wall.
Step 6.Remove the lower chimney, then drill hole in the wall: hole with diameter 4 ~mm screw.

Step7.Install the lower chimney on appliance again, then screw it to the wall with 2 screws o diameter 4 mm and the corresponding wall plugs (not supplied).Also screw the chimney and the hood with 2 screws(ST4x8)mm


Step 8.Fix the upper chimney bracket on the upper chimney by 2 screws .ST4 x 8 mm Step 9.Pull the upper chimney upwards to the target height and mark the holes on the wall.


Step 10. Release the upper chimney and then drill holes on the wall.
Step 11.Pull out the upper chimney again, then fit to the wall with 2 screws ST4x30mm

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Attention! Before cleaning switch the unit off and pull the plug.
Regular Cleaning
Use a soft cloth moistened with hand-warm mildly soa water or household cleaning detergent. Never use metapads, chemical, abrasive material or stiff brush to clean the unit.
Monthly Cleaning for Grease Filter
ESSENTIAL: Clean the filter every month can prevent any risk of fire.
The filter collects grease, smoke and dust. It is directly affecting the efficiency of the cooker hood. If not clean the grease residue (potential flammable) will saturate on the filter. Clean it with household cleaning detergent
Attention!
The lamp must not be covered by thermal insulation or other materials.
Only switch on the lights while the appliance is operating. Do not switch on the lights to lighten the room.

+ Speed plus key: For increasing the speed of the fan
- Speed decrease key: For decreasing the speed of the fan.
Light key: Allows you to turn the LED lighting on off

Digital display
Fan speed display:
"1" for Low speed,
"2" for Medium speed,
"3" for High speed.
timer: Press ^+ &simultaneously for 1
second. The digital display flashes & the
countdown starts for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the motor & light will turn off automatic & Buzzer sound for 1 second
Booster function: Long press the + button once to set the highest speed. "b" for the booster
function flashes in the display. After 5 minutes, the speed automatically changes to level 3.

(4) Any incorrect maintenance operation, failure to use according to product instructions, or connection to incorrect voltage;
(5) Use attachments that have not been provided or approved by Edison in mainland China.
If the nameplate and/or product serial number are missing, the warranty will be invalid.
