USER MANUAL NTH2017BR MIDEA
1. Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
4. The heater must not be located directly below a socket outlet.
5. This appliance is not intended for use in humid enviroments
or near water or other liquids such as bathrooms, showers or swimming pools.
6. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance. 1. Check if the mains cable is in good condition.
2. The product adopts 220-240V AC power supply. Before use, confirm if the rated
current of the power socket meets the local requirements with safe grounding device; otherwise, replace it with the qualified socket. Installing the appliance Install the appliance on a flat and stable surface. This product can be used vertically (control panel facing upwards) or horizontally (control panel facing left). In the event of a horizontal installation, make sure the air intake and exhaust grilles are completely clear. Vertical position Horizontal position Starting the appliance Turn the power switch to “I” position. Press the ON/OFF button (or the ON/OFF button on the remote control) to start working. The device supplies air at high power after starting and the display will show the temperature setting of 35°C. Function setting Repeatedly press the Mode button for cycling the heater through high - low - fan - ECO mode - high. Fan mode: the appliance does not heat and ventilates ambient air. ECO mode: the appliance is running on economical heating power and automatically adjusts the temperature to keep it constant in the room. Temperature setting During operation, press the + or - button to set the temperature value in the range of 5 - 35°C. When the room temperature reaches the set temperature, the display flashes for 10s and the device stops heating. When in standby mode the temperature is lower than the set temperature, the device starts heating again.16 Timer Off-timer During operation, press the TIMER button to enter the off-timer (0 - 24 hours). Then repeatedly press the + button to increase the off-time by 1 hour each time. Press the - button to decrease the off-time by 1 hour each time. On-timer In standby mode, press the TIMER button to enter the on-timer (0 - 24 hours). Then press the + button to increase the on-time by 1 hour each time. Press the - button to decrease the on-time by 1 hour each time. Oscillation During operation, press the Swing button to enter swing mode. Press this button again to turn off the swing function. In stop mode, the oscillation also stops. Memory function When you turn off the appliance normally, then turn on it again, it will start to work by the setting of last time. If the appliance is power off, it will start to work by the factory default setting when you restart it. Default temperature is 35°C. Auto display off During operation, after 1 minute without pressing any button, the display automatically switches off; only heating logo is lit. Press and hold the + and - buttons for 2 seconds, to turn off the display. Press and hold the buttons again for 2 seconds, to turn the display on again. Temperature sensor short circuit, open circuit protection function In any mode, temperature sensor short circuit protection, room temperature will display E1 or E2 and constantly flash; all buttons are invalid. The buzzer beeps 10 times. Safety protection During start with the room temperature TH above 50°C, all output is closed. The display shows “FF” and flashes 1 time per second for 75 seconds. All buttons are invalid except the ON/OFF button. Remote control Use instructions remote control: the button functions are basically the same as on the operating panel. This heater cannot achieve accurate temperature control of the environment, and thus cannot be used for the storage of items, animals and plants.17
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the power cord from the power socket and allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning or maintaining it.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Never use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance (alcohol, solvent). Basic cleaning
1. Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the outside of the heater to remove dust and dirt.
2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from ventilation holes.
3. Make sure the heater is dry before unplugging it.
1. Gently pull the release latches at the bottom of the air intake grille on the back
of the appliance, then remove the grille.
2. Pull out the black filter behind the grille.
3. Soak the filter in clean, clear water for a few minutes, then dry it thoroughly.
4. Clean the filter compartment with a soft, dry cloth.
5. Put the dry filter back behind the grille.
6. Put the air intake grille back on the appliance until it clicks into place.
If the appliance is not going to be used for an extended period If you do not plan to use the appliance for an extended period:
1. Turn off and unplug the appliance.
2. Clean the appliance as described in the section above.
3. Remove the batteries from the remote control and store them with the appliance
Troubleshooting If the product does not operate or does not operate properly, first check according to the following list. If the reason that the product does not operate or does not operate properly is not included in the following list, the product may have failed. In this case it is recommended to send the product to the dealer for repair. Problem Possible Cause Solution After the power is connected the machine does not work. The plug may not be connected properly to mains power. Check whether the plug is properly inserted into the receptacle. The heater suddenly stops heating. The temperature exceeds the threshold of the thermal cut-off. Let the device cool down before use.
