USER MANUAL WE 20 Volcano STEBA
The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capa- bilities or lack of experience/knowledge, provided that are su- pervised or have been provided with instruction in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the resulting dangers. Children must not use the packaging as a plaything. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children un- less they are 8 years or older and are supervised. ∙ Children under the age of 8 must be kept away from the appli- ance and the connecting cable. ∙ The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate remote system! ∙ When using a power cord extension, it is important that chil- dren are not pulling at it or a trip hazard occurs. A cable drum must always be unwound. ∙ Don’t keep the appliance outside or in a humid environment. ∙ Never immerse the appliance in water. ∙ Use the appliance never after a malfunction, e.g. when it fell down or was damaged in any other way. ∙ The producer takes no responsibility for wrong use, which comes from not obeying the instruction manual10 ∙ To avoid any dangers, any repairs at the appliance, e.g. an ex- change of the cord, must only be done by customer service. Only use original spare parts. ∙ The appliance becomes hot. Do not move the appliance until it has cooled down! ∙ Before the first use: clean all parts – except the heating ele- ments – and leave to dry. To remove the smell of production, allow the appliance to heat up for about 10 minutes. The de- vice can smoke slightly in the first few minutes. Then wipe the plates with a damp cloth. ∙ Attention! Device gets hot. Danger of burns! Only use the device on an even, stable and a heat resisting surface and keep a distance of at least 70cm to burn- able materials. ∙ Steam from the food can emerge between the plates. Danger of burns! Cleaning ∙ Unplug the device and leave to cool down. ∙ Do not immerse the device in water, pour water over it or put it in the dish washer. ∙ For hygienic reasons, the device must be cleaned after every use. ∙ Clean the waffle plate with paper towel. ∙ Remove the dough remains from the hinge and housing. ∙ Wipe the entire device with a damp cloth. ∙ Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal objects. ∙ For cuts and scratches on the coating, resulting from the use, no guarantee can be made. ∙ Due to grease vapours may discolour the surface. Workspace: Important: Never put the device on or next to a hot surface (e.g. the rings of a stove). Always put the device on a surface that is level, stable, temperature-resistant and dry. Keep it away from the edge of work surfaces so that it cannot fall off during use.11 Preparation of Waffles
1) Remove the funnel from the bottom of the unit. Connect the device according to
the rating plate, the red lamp is lit constantly and indicates that the device is con- nected to the power supply.
2) Place the filling funnel on the upper part and lock it. When the blue lamp is lit the
temperature is reached.
3) Place the waffle dough with the measuring spoon in the filling funnel. Check the
degree of browning after approx. 5 - 7 minutes. Remove the filling funnel with a rotary motion and remove the remaining dough.
