How do I install my TRENDnet AC750 router?

Connect the router to your modem via the WAN port, then plug in the power. Access http://192.168.10.1 from a browser and follow the setup wizard.

What is the default password for the administration interface?

The default username is admin and the password is blank (or sometimes admin). Check the label on the back of the device.

How do I reset the router to factory defaults?

Press and hold the Reset button on the back for about 10 seconds using a paperclip, until the lights flash.

How do I change the Wi-Fi password?

Log into the web interface, go to Wireless > Security, enter a new password in the 'Pre-Shared Key' field, and apply changes.

My Wi-Fi network is unstable, what should I do?

Try changing the Wi-Fi channel in the settings, move the router away from interference sources (microwaves, phones) or update the firmware.

How do I update the router's firmware?

Download the latest firmware from the TRENDnet website, then in the web interface go to Tools > Firmware Update and select the downloaded file.

Can I use the router as a repeater?

Yes, the TRENDnet AC750 supports Repeater or WDS mode. Configure it in the web interface under Operation Mode.

How do I block a specific device on my network?

Use MAC filtering in the web interface. Go to Wireless > MAC Filtering, add the device's MAC address, and block it.

The router won't power on, what should I check?

Check that the power adapter is properly plugged in and the outlet works. Try another power cable if possible. If nothing works, contact TRENDnet support.

Where can I find the serial number and exact model?

The serial number and model are printed on a label stuck to the bottom of the router.

Installation Requirements

• A computer with a wired or wireless network adapter and web browser
- Broadband internet
- Installed modem

2. Installation

1. Verify that you have an Internet connection.
2. Power off your modem.
3. Disconnect the network cable from your modem and your computer.
4. Connect your modem to the TEW-810DR's Internet port (yellow).
5. Connect your computer to one of the wireless router's LAN ports.

1. Power on your router.
2. Power on your modem. Wait until the LEDs indicate that modem is fully functional. For more information on your modem's LEDs, please refer with your modem's user's guide.
3. Verify that the status LED indicators on the front of the router to confirm that the device is fully functional: Power (Green) and Internet (Green / Blinking).

Note: It is recommended that you configure the wireless router from a wired computer.

1. Open your web browser. The wizard will automatically appear. If the wizard does not appear, click Advanced, click Setup and then click Wizard.

2. Click Next.

1. Open up your browser and enter in a URL (e.g. www.trendnet.com) to verify that you have Internet connection.

2. For added security we have pre-encrypted each TEW-810DR with a unique Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and Wi-Fi Key. You can find these pre-configured settings on the labels at the front and back of the TEW-810DR. You will use this information to connect wireless to the router. To change the Wi-Fi Key, refer to the product manual. If the Wi-Fi Router is reset, the Wi-Fi Key and the Wi-Fi Name will also reset to factory defaults.

Wireless router installation is now complete. For detailed information regarding the wireless router's configuration and advanced settings, please refer to the User's Guide CD-ROM, or TRENDnet's website at http://www.trendnet.com.
