Important Safety Instructions

When using this product, observe the following safety precautions:

- This food processor is equipped with a protection device against overheating. When the temperature is too high, the unit will turn off automatically and resume operation after the motor has sufficiently cooled down (after about 15 minutes).

- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

- Warning: potential injury from misuse. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades,

emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

- Do not operate the unit continuously for more than a minute.

- If the operation needs to last more than a minute, operate the unit for a minute and then turn it off and let it cool for ten minutes before continuing. If the operation needs to last a total of more than five minutes, repeat as described above and then let the unit cool for 90 minutes before turning it on again. This would extend the

service life of your food processor.

  • The accessible surfaces may become hot during use.
  • This appliance is not designed to operate with an external timer or remote control.
  • The blades and discs are very sharp, handle with care. Always hold the blade by the finger grip away from the cutting edge when handling and cleaning.
  • Always remove the blade before pouring the contents from the bowl.
  • Keep hands and all utensils out of the mixing bowl and blender jar while the unit is plugged into the power supply.
  • Turn off and unplug the appliance:
  • before fitting or removing attachments;
  • when not in use; and
  • before cleaning.
  • Never push food into the feeder tube with your fingers. Always use the supplied pusher.
  • Before removing the cover from

the mixing bowl or blender jar from the motor unit:

  • turn off the power;
  • make sure that the accessories/ blades have completely stopped; and
  • be careful not to unscrew the mixing bowl or blender jar from the motor unit.

- Let the liquid cool to room temperature before placing them in the blender.

- Do not apply excessive force on the locking mechanism; otherwise the unit could be damaged and cause injury.

- Never use unauthorized attachment.

- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.

- Never use a damaged appliance. Send it fort inspection or repair.

- Never wet the motor unit, power cord or plug.

- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop. Do not allow it to come into contact

with hot surfaces.

- Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated in the product.

- Only use the appliance for its intended domestic use. We decline all liability if the appliance is used improperly or if the present instructions are not followed.

- Improper use of your food processor can cause injury.

- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Unpack the product and disassemble all parts. Refer to the section "Disassembling the Appliance" for instructions.

Wash all parts in warm soapy water except the motor unit. Dry them immediately. DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Chopping Blade

  1. Fix the spindle onto the motor unit.
  2. Place the bowl on the motor unit and turn it clockwise in order to secure it firmly in place.
  3. Fit the accessory holder onto the spindle.
  4. Position the chopping blade onto the accessory holder.
  5. Turn the blade to secure it in place.
  6. Put the cover on the bowl and turn it clockwise until it is locked on the bowl.
  7. Insert the pusher into the feeder tube.

Notes for Use:

Install the chopping blade in the bowl before adding the ingredients. To avoid over-chopping food, use the "PULSE" function. Repeat if necessary. Do not chop hard cheese or chocolate for too long to avoid melting them.

Standard Chopping Time: 30 to 60 seconds

Slicing and Shredding Blades

  1. Fix the spindle onto the motor unit.
  2. Place the bowl on the motor unit and turn it clockwise in order to secure it firmly in place.
  3. Attach the suitable disc to the blade adapter.
  4. Fit the blade adapter onto the spindle.
  5. Put the cover on the bowl.

  6. Turn the cover clockwise until it is locked on the bowl.

  7. Add the food into the bowl through the feeder tube.
  8. Use the pusher to press the food down.

Notes for Use:

Choose the appropriate blade according to the recipe and ingredients. Gently push the food down with the pusher.

Cut food into small pieces in order to insert them into the feeder tube more easily.

For best results, add the food progressively. For soft foods, select a slower speed to avoid making them liquid. If you need to prepare a large amount of food, divide them into several lots. Do not slice or shred over 1,200ml of ingredients at a time. Never exceed the maximum capacity of the appliance.

Blender

  1. Make sure the swivel stand is firmly fixed in place.
  2. Add the food in the blender jar.
  3. Put the measuring cup and cover in place.
  4. Position the blender jar on the motor unit then turn it clockwise in order to lock it.

Tips and Warnings:

It is recommended to use the "PULSE" function to stir the ingredients before blending them. Do not blend more than 1,800ml of ingredients at a time.

Make sure the swivel stand is properly installed before switching on the appliance. You can use the measuring cup for adding ingredients during operation.

Do not operate the food processor continuously for more than one minute; otherwise it may overheat.

DISASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

  1. Remove the pusher. Turn the cover anticlockwise and take it away.
  2. Lift the blade adapter from thespindle.
  3. Remove the blade from theadapter.
  4. Turn the bowl anticlockwise to unlock it from the motor unit then lift it up.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Wash all parts in warm soapy water except the motor unit.

The blades and discs are detachable and can be washed with water. Handle them with care.

DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR UNIT IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

TROUBLESHOOTING
