USER MANUAL HUT100 Royal Sovereign
- Do not block or cover air outlets. Electrical Specifications and Power Cord Check to ensure that the electrical service being used is adequate for the model you’ve chosen. The electrical rating of your new heater is defined on the serial sticker on the unit. Please refer to the rating when checking electrical requirements to ensure they meet the electrical codes of your location.
- Do not use this appliance if it malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors. Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner, a microwave, or a heated oven.
- To protect against fire, electric shock or injury, do not place cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.
- The wrong use conflicting with the safeguards voids the customer of the right for warranty service.
- Do not modify any part of this product.
- Do not insert any objects into the product or block the airflow in any way.
- Ensure that the power supply you use has an appropriate voltage rating.
- If the electrical outlet you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, you should have a qualified electrician install the proper outlet.
- Do not use this unit with any extension cords or adapter plugs.
- If the cord or plug is damaged in any way, please call the Royal Sovereign Service Department
- Turn the unit off and unplug, when cleaning the heater or when the heater will not be used for an extended time period.
- When overheating should occur the built-in overheating safety device will shut the appliance off. General Use
- Do not block air outlets with any obstacles.
- Do not insert any objects into the heater.
- Do not pour water on the housing or control panel.
- Do not place heavy items or sit on the heater.
- Never pull or damage the power cord in any way.
- Don’t let your children use the appliance.
- The repair of the appliance must be performed by a professional. Mistakes in repair are dangerous and can bring great hazard to the user.4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Note: When using the heater for the first time, you may notice a slight emission of smoke. This is normal and will stop after a short time. The heating element is made of steel and was coated with a layer of protective oil during production. Setting Function Unit is off Fan Runs – No Heat Fan Runs – Full Power Heat IMPORTANT: Read all instructions and warnings carefully before installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a possible electric shock, injury to persons, fire hazard and will void the warrantyHUT-100
1. Position the fan heater on a firm level surface and at a safe distance from wet locations or flammable objects.
2. Connect the fan heater to the proper electrical .
3. Press power button to Fan or Heater Position.
4. Set the thermostat dial to the maximum temperature.
5. Once the room reaches the desired temperature, turn the thermostat dial back until heating element turns off. The heater will cycle automatically around this present temperature. To increase temperature, turn the thermostat knob clockwise. To lower temperature, turn the thermostat counterclockwise. Grounding Instructions: Ensure the heater is switched OFF before plugging the heater into the outlet. Connect to properly grounded outlets only. Note: The power cord has a polarized plug (with one blade wider than the other) that will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If it does not insert easily try reversing the plug. If it still does not fit contact your electrician to replace your outlet. DO NOT defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. Electrical outlet wiring must comply with local building codes and other applicable regulations to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons. Do not use this appliance if any part of it has been underwater. Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appliance and replace any part of the electrical system which has been under water.6 Automatic Overheat Safety Control This heater is equipped with an internal heat limiting thermostat and overheats protection circuit. When a potential overheat temperature is reached, the system will automatically shut the heater off. Unplug heater allow to cool down for 10 minutes, and then restart. CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN NO SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Any electrical repairs or rewiring of this unit should be carried out by a licensed electrician and accordance with national and local codes.
- Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the power outlet and let it cool down.
- In order to protect the enclosure, don't splash water onto the heater, and never use a solvent like gasoline, isoamyl acetate, toluene, etc. to clean the heater. DO NOT open the heater or attempt to clean the inside of this appliance. Heating element does not glow red Stainless steel elements won’t glow red to produce heat. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice."8 WARANTY Royal Sovereign warrants each heater to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, free of charge, when delivered to an authorized Royal Sovereign service center, of any defective part(s) thereof, other than parts damaged in transit. This warranty is in effect to the original purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase and is not transferable. This warranty shall apply only if the heater is used in accordance with the factory provided instructions which accompany it. EXCLUSIONS This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or failures of your Royal Sovereign Heater, caused by repairs by unauthorized persons or service centers, mishandling, improper installation, modification or unreasonable use including incorrect voltage, acts of God, or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. This warranty is in lieu of any and all expressed warranties. In no event shall Royal Sovereign be liable for consequential or incidental damages. This limitation would not apply if you live in a location that does not permit the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages.
