Thank you for choosing Royal Sovereign to provide you and your family with all of the "Home Comfort" requirements for your home, apartment, or office. This Heater can be set-up in just minutes and can be easily moved from room to room. This manual will provide you with valuable information necessary for the proper care and maintenance for your new heater. Please take a few moments and read the instructions thoroughly. If properly maintained, your heater will give you many years of trouble free operation.

Precautions for use

  • Do not block or cover air outlets.

Electrical Specifications and Power Cord

Check to ensure that the electrical service being used is adequate for the model you've chosen. The electrical rating of your new heater is defined on the serial sticker on the unit. Please refer to the rating when checking electrical requirements to ensure they meet the electrical codes of your location.

  • Do not use outdoors. Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner, a microwave, or a heated oven.

  • The wrong use conflicting with the safeguards voids the customer of the right for warranty service.
  • Do not modify any part of this product.
  • Do not insert any objects into the product or block the airflow in any way.
  • Ensure that the power supply you use has an appropriate voltage rating.
  • If the electrical outlet you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, you should have a qualified electrician install the proper outlet.
  • Do not use this unit with any extension cords or adapter plugs.
  • If the cord or plug is damaged in any way, please call the Royal Sovereign Service Department
  • Turn the unit off and unplug, when cleaning the heater or when the heater will not be used for an extended time period.
  • When overheating should occur the built-in overheating safety device will shut the appliance off.

General Use

  • Do not insert any objects into the heater.
  • Do not pour water on the housing or control panel.
  • Do not place heavy items or sit on the heater.
  • Never pull or damage the power cord in any way.
  • Don't let your children use the appliance.

OPERATION

  1. Connect the heater and get it started;
  2. Rotate the adjustable thermostat clockwise. Turn the thermostat knob to the position max;
  3. Users can turn the switch clockwise to the position "LOW" or "HIGH" according to their needs. The power indicator light is on when the switch turns to "LOW";
  4. The product is equipped with tip-over switch inside. When the product tips over abnormally during its use, it can cut off power automatically. Power Light

SAFETY FEATURES

Tip-Over Safety Feature

This heater is equipped with a tip-over safety feature. Once the heater is tipped over, an internal switch will automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is restored an upright position, the heater will reset.

Overheat Safety Feature

This heater is equipped with a overheat safety feature. When the heaters internal components reach a certain temperature that could cause overheat and possible fire, the heater will automatically shut off.

WARNING: It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the outlet and the plug may cause overheating of the plug. If this occurs, try inserting the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet for damage.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Turn off the power switch in the rear of the unit.
  2. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
  3. To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth. CAUTION: DO NOT let liquid enter the heater.
  4. DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
  5. DO NOT immerse the heater in water.
  6. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.

STORAGE

Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair of service:

  1. Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.
  2. Check if electricity to the main fuse is working.

WARANTY

Royal Sovereign warrants each heater to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Our obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, free of charge, when delivered to an authorized Royal Sovereign service center, of any defective part(s) thereof, other than parts damaged in transit. This warranty is in effect to the ozriginal purchaser, for a period of one year from the date of purchase and is not transferable. This warranty shall apply only if the heater is used in accordance with the factory provided instructions which accompany it.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty excludes and does not cover defects, malfunctions or failures of your Royal Sovereign Heater, caused by repairs by unauthorized persons or service centers, mishandling, improper installation, modification or unreasonable use including incorrect voltage, acts of God, or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. This warranty is in lieu of any and all expressed warranties. In no event shall Royal Sovereign be liable for consequential or incidental damages. This limitation would not apply if you live in a location that does not permit the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
