How to install the XMP6200 media player?

Attach the Wi-Fi antenna by screwing it onto the threaded socket. Mount the device on the back of a screen using VESA mounts (100x100 mm) or the included velcro. Connect the HDMI cable between the player and the screen. Connect the power adapter (12V 1.5A). Turn on the device. A USB mouse is required for initial setup.

What video formats are supported?

The XMP6200 supports H.264, VC-1, MPEG-4 ASP and MPEG-2 formats up to 1080p resolution and 10 Mbps bitrate. It is also compatible with POPAI standards S6 to S12, E4, E7, E8.

Can I use a USB mouse?

Yes, a USB mouse is required for initial system setup. Plug it into one of the USB 2.0 ports.

How to connect the Wi-Fi antenna?

Screw the provided Wi-Fi antenna clockwise onto the threaded socket located on the back of the player. Ensure it is securely attached.

How to mount the device on the back of a screen?

Two options: 1. VESA mounting: use the mounting holes on the back of the player (MIS-D100, 100x100 mm, M4 thread). 2. Velcro mounting: stick one side of the velcro to the back of the player and the other side to the back of the screen.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

Check that the power adapter is properly connected to the player and to a functional electrical outlet. Ensure the power indicator (green) is lit. If the problem persists, perform a factory reset by pressing the Reset button with a paperclip.

How to update the displayed content?

You can update content via USB flash drive (USB 2.0 port) or via Ethernet network. The player accepts dynamic content in HTML5 and SMIL 3.0 formats.

1.2. Installation

Attach wireless antenna

Attach the wireless antenna as shown below, and then screw antenna clockwise onto the post.

Mounting Option 1: [VESA Mount] The player can be attached to mounting posts on the back of screens with the built in VESA MIS-D100 (100mmx100mm) compatible mounting flange(screw thread : M4)

Mounting Option 2: [Attach the player on the back of the monitor using Velcro]

1. Separate the Velcro pads, and stick on the bottom of player as shown below.

1. Stick the other Velcro pad onto the back of monitor, and then attach the player to it. Use HDMI cable to connect player and the monitor.
