This appliance is intended for domesc household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other applicaon, such as for non-domesc use or in a commercial environment. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. For the details concerning the method of cleaning, please see secon “Cleaning and maintenance” on page EN-7. The appliance is only to be used with the types of detachable control unit or detachable transformer that is marked on the appliance. When not in use, store as follows. When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage. When the appliance is likely to be used for an extended period, for instance by the user falling asleep, controls should be adjusted to a seng recommended for connuous use. The switch or control unit must not be allowed to get wet during washing and that during drying the cord must be posioned to ensure that water does not flow into the switch or control.

• The controls and leads must not be exposed to any kind of moisture.

• Do not reach or retrieve the appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug the appliance immediately.

• During operaon, the switch and lead may not be placed on or under the appliance or covered in any other way whatsoever.

• Do not place any heat sources (e.g. hot water boles or heang pads) on the appliance.

• Never carry, pull or turn the appliance using the power cable and do not clamp the cable.

• Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the mains socket when it is not in use.

• In the event of a defect, do not repair the appliance yourself. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified personnel.

• Regularly inspect the supply cord, plug, controller and the heang pillow for any damage. If damage is found, immediately stop use of the appliance.

• If you experience any pain or discomfort while using the appliance, stop using it immediately. 1. Make sure the cable connector is securely aached to the

pillow connector by pushing both parts together for a ght fit.

2. Make sure that the controller is in the 0 posion.

3. Connect the plug into the closest mains socket.

4. Move the heat seng on the controller to the desired heat

5. Always ensure that the heat seng is moved to “0” and

remove the controller from the mains socket when not in use.

• When the heang pillow is in operaon, the controller may slightly warm, therefore, ensure that the controller is not covered or placed on the heang pillow while the appliance is switched on.

• Safety Timer: The appliance has a built-in mer and will automacally switch off aer 90 minutes.

• To switch back on the appliance, first set the controller to “0”and wait for about 5 second. Then select the new heat seng. Always unplug and remove the controller from the appliance before cleaning. The power cable must NEVER come into contact with water. Clean the heang pillow with a damp cloth. Before using the heang pillow, make sure it is completely dry. Take out the heang pillow from the wrap. Wash the wrap in warm soapy water and rinse it thoroughly. The wrap may be washed on the WOOL or DELICATES seng of washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Hang the wrap to air dry naturally in a horizontal posion unl completely dry. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Maintenance Examine the appliance regularly to check that there are no signs of wear or damage. If any damage/wear is spoed, do not use the appliance and seek specialist advice. If the mains lead or controller is damaged, do not open or aempt to repair them as they must be serviced by a qualified person. Storage When not in use, allow to cool and dry then fold neatly but not ghtly (or roll) in the original packaging without sharp bends in the heang element. Store where no other objects will be placed upon it in a cool dry place.
