How to turn on the OKOIA Cocoon diffuser?

Press the on/off button on the base. A first press turns on the mist and light in changing mode. Each subsequent press changes the light mode (fixed, off, then full stop).

How much water and essential oil to use?

Fill the tank to the 'Max' line with 160 ml of water (tap or bottled). Add 3 to 6 drops of natural water-soluble essential oil. Do not exceed the maximum level.

How to clean the diffuser?

Turn off and unplug the device. Remove the lid and splash guard, wash them under the tap. Clean the inside of the tank with a damp cloth, and the ceramic disc with a clean cotton swab. Never immerse the base in water.

Can I use any essential oil?

No, use only 100% natural and water-soluble essential oils. Non-water-soluble oils can damage the device or pose a risk.

What to do if the diffuser stops on its own?

This is normal: the device automatically turns off when the tank is empty or water level too low. Refill it and turn it on again.

Can the diffuser be used continuously?

Yes, it can run continuously as long as there is water. Be sure to check the water level regularly and do not let it run dry.

How to change essential oil?

Turn off and unplug the device. Empty the tank, clean it with a damp cloth, then fill with clean water and add the new oil. You can also clean the ceramic disc to avoid mixing scents.

Can I move the diffuser while it is running?

Avoid tilting or inclining the device while running as water may spill. Place it on a flat, stable surface before turning it on.

What is the power supply voltage of the diffuser?

OPERATION

The aroma diffuser is powered by connecting the supplied power adapter.

1. Place the aroma diffuser on a firm, flat surface, at least 10 cm away from walls or objects.
2. Remove the cover and water guard. Fill the tank with up to 160 ml bottled or tap water.

- Do not exceed the maximum water level.

1. If desired, add 3-6 drops of the desired essential oil into the water.

INFORMATION ON THE USE OF ESSENTIAL OIL

• Use 100% natural essential oil.
• Use water soluble essential oil only.
• Do not apply undiluted essential oils onto skin.
• Do not ingest essential oils.

- If you want to change the essential oil, turn off and disconnect the diffuser from the power adapter. Remove the cover and water guard, and then empty the water tank. Clean the inside of the water tank with a soft clean cloth or paper towel. Fill the water tank with water again and add drops of a new essential oil into the glass tank. Follow the instructions to operate the diffuser.

1. Insert the small end of the power adapter into the power socket of the diffuser and plug the power adapter into the mains socket.

NOTE: When the water runs out or the water level is too low, the appliance will shut off automatically. It is recommended to check regularly to see whether the diffuser needs a top up.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power adapter and then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket.

Carefully remove the cover and water guard. Clean them under running water.

If you do not use the appliance for an extended period, please pour out any remaining water out of the water tank from the water spout.

Do not empty the water from the air outlet, which will cause damage to the diffuser.

Clean the outside of the water tank and base with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. DO NOT IMMERSE THE WATER TANK AND BASE IN WATER.

It is recommended to regularly clean the inside of the water tank with a clean soft damp cloth.

Regularly clean the ceramic disc using a clean swab.

Do not touch or scratch the ceramic disc with sharp objects.

Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.

Storage

Make sure the diffuser is completely dry before storing.

Store it in a cool dry place.
