WARNINGS This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for none domestic use or in a commercial environment. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the appliance. The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance. The external flexible cable of the transformer cannot be replaced, if the cord of this transformer is damaged, it is necessary to dispose the transformer and replaced by a transformer of the same model. Regarding the details information of filling and cleaning, refer to the section “Operation, Cleaning and maintenance”. Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning. The appliance is only to be used with the recommended vaporizing medium. The use of other substances may give rise to a toxic or fire risk. Downloaded from www.vandenborre.be2

Only use the appliance as an ambience diffuser; not to be inhaled. Use the appliance in an environment between 10°C and 30°C. Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, during filling or before cleaning. Do not place the aroma diffuser directly on wooden furniture or other surfaces that could be damaged by water. Do not place the appliance where water spillage or condensation may cause damage to furniture, electronic products or floors. Do not operate the appliance without water. Do not cover the appliance when it is in operation. Do not place anything over mist outlet when the appliance is operating. Do not remove the cover from the diffuser when it is in operation. Do not touch the ceramic disc while the appliance is in operation as ultrasonic vibrations may cause a stinging sensation. Do not lean or tilt the diffuser during operation.

OPERATION The aroma diffuser is powered by connecting the supplied power adapter.

1. Place the aroma diffuser on a firm, flat surface, at least 10 cm away from walls or objects.

2. Remove the cover and water guard. Fill the tank with up to 160 ml bottled or tap water.

Do not exceed the maximum water level.

3. If desired, add 3-6 drops of the desired essential oil into the water.

INFORMATION ON THE USE OF ESSENTIAL OIL Use 100% natural essential oil. Use water soluble essential oil only. Do not apply undiluted essential oils onto skin. Do not ingest essential oils. If you want to change the essential oil, turn off and disconnect the diffuser from the power adapter. Remove the cover and water guard, and then empty the water tank. Clean the inside of the water tank with a soft clean cloth or paper towel. Fill the water tank with water again and add drops of a new essential oil into the glass tank. Follow the instructions to operate the diffuser.

4. Replace the water guard and cover on the water tank.

5. Insert the small end of the power adapter into the power socket of the diffuser and plug the power

adapter into the mains socket.

6. Repeatedly press the on/off button to select the desired mist and light colour mode.

NOTE: When the water runs out or the water level is too low, the appliance will shut off automatically. It is recommended to check regularly to see whether the diffuser needs a top up.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power adapter and then unplug the power adapter from the mains socket. Carefully remove the cover and water guard. Clean them under running water. If you do not use the appliance for an extended period, please pour out any remaining water out of the water tank from the water spout.

Do not empty the water from the air outlet, which will cause damage to the diffuser. Downloaded from www.vandenborre.be5 Clean the outside of the water tank and base with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly. DO NOT IMMERSE THE WATER TANK AND BASE IN WATER. It is recommended to regularly clean the inside of the water tank with a clean soft damp cloth. Regularly clean the ceramic disc using a clean swab. Do not touch or scratch the ceramic disc with sharp objects. Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.

Storage Make sure the diffuser is completely dry before storing. Store it in a cool dry place.
