HELPFUL TIPS - It is advisable to use olive oil spray or vegetable oil for air frying. - Use your air fryer to cook food with little oil and in no time! As a general rule, reduce the cooking temperature of the recipe by about 10ºC depending on the type of food and the quantity. - NEVER fill the fry basket more than 2/3 full. When frying fresh vegetables we recommend that you add no more than 3 cups of food to the basket. - To achieve the best result, some foods need to be shaken vigorously or turned over during cooking time. Please refer to the table below and use it as a guide. - When cooking high-fat foods, such as chicken wings or sausages, drain the fat from the fryer basket drawer between batches of food to avoid excess smoke. - Always dry food before cooking to avoid excess smoke and achieve ideal browning. - Fry small batches of freshly breaded foods. Press the breaded dough onto the food to help achieve better adhesion. Place the food in the basket so that they do not touch each other to allow for better air circulation.FDR 8020
- You can use the air fryer to reheat food.
TIP: You can use a thermometer to ensure that meat and fish are fully cooked before eating. The table below can serve as a guide, but keep in mind that cooking time can be affected by several factors: the amount of food placed in each batch, its thickness or density, or whether the food is fresh, thawed or frozen.
1. For even cooking / browning, open the fry basket tray halfway through the cooking time. Check the
food, turn it over or shake the basket vigorously. This table indicates the average times for air frying, when you need to take action, and what action to take to get the best results.
2. Remember to fry in small batches, thus shortening cooking times and obtaining higher quality.
Adjust the temperature and cooking time needed to cook food to your liking. IMPORTANT NOTE: Unless food is canned or pre-oiled, it should be lightly brushed with oil first to get it crisp and golden. You can spray food with oil. Oil sprays work very well because they evenly distribute the oil in small amounts. To achieve a crispy result, make sure that the food is dry before adding the oil. Cut the food into small pieces if you want to get a crispy result. The term blanching refers to the pre-cooking of food at a low temperature prior to cooking in the air fryer Food Temp.
