How to attach the whisks on the Ariete 1545?

To attach the whisks, make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged. Set the selector to '0'. Insert the shaft of each whisk into the motor slots while turning slightly until it clicks. The spiral hooks have a metal ring: the one with the ring goes into the larger slot.

Which speed to use for whipping egg whites?

To whip egg whites, use speed 4. For 1 to 10 egg whites, the beating time is 1 to 3 minutes.

Can I wash the whisks in the dishwasher?

Yes, the wire whisks and hooks can be washed in the dishwasher or in hot water. Never wash the motor body, cable, or plug in water.

What is the maximum recommended use time?

For speeds 1 to 4, do not exceed 3 minutes of continuous use. For Turbo speed, limit to 1 minute. Let the appliance cool down between uses.

What to do if the appliance slows down during use?

If the appliance slows down excessively, switch to a higher speed or reduce the amount of mixture. For overly dense doughs, use the Turbo function by pressing the selector.

Can I use an extension cord with this appliance?

The necessary precautions must be taken when using electrical appliances, and these include the following:

ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF BEATERS

WARNING: When assembling, disassembling or cleaning the appliance, make sure it is off and unplugged.

• Position the speed selector (B) on the position "0".
• To fit the beaters, hold the appliance by its handle and insert the stem of each beater into the provided holes on the appliance body by slightly rotating them until a click is heard (Fig.1).
  The dough hooks (C) are different: the one having a metal ring on the stem is to be mounted into the larger hole (Fig. 2).
• Press the releasing button (A) to remove the beaters.

HOW TO USE THE MIXER

• Position the speed selector (B) on the position "0".
• Insert the required beaters, as previously described.
• Plug the power cord into a socket.
• Put the ingredients into a bowl.
• Immerse the beaters in the center of the mixture, turn on the appliance and start mixing at the lowest speed increasing it gradually until the required speed is reach.
• After the mixing process or in case it is required to add other ingredients to the mixture or to change the beater type, move the switch (B) to its original position "0", unplug the appliance and release the beaters.
• Observe the max time of 60 continuous seconds (using speed "Turbo") for preparing the recipe or allow the appliance to rest for longer preparations.

WARNING: Should the appliance slow down excessively while operating, select a higher speed or reduce the amount of mixture to be processed. In case of very thick mixtures, it is also possible to use the “Turbo” speed via the selector (B).
