  • This unit can be used by chil- dren aged 8  and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are super- vised or have been instructed on how to use the unit in a safe way and they understand the hazards involved.
  • Do not allow children to play with the unit.
  • Only allow children to carry out cleaning and user mainte- nance under supervision.
  • Only connect the unit if the electrical data of the unit and the power supply correspond. The unit data is to be found on the unit type plate, on the packaging or in this manual.
  • Switch off all units in the aquarium or disconnect the power plugs of all units before reaching into the water.
  • Disconnect the power plug be- fore carrying out any work on the unit.
  • Do not use the unit if electrical cables or housings are dam- aged.
  • The lamp contains integrated LED lights. The lights in the lamp cannot be replaced.
  • If a power connection cable is damaged, have it immediately replaced by OASE, an author- ised customer service or a qualified electrician to prevent electric shock. SAFETY INFORMATION

Operating instructions

HighLine Classic LED Daylight is an LED lamp for OASE HighLine aquariums. The light bar consists of an array of LEDs. The angle of radiation of the LEDs ensures uni- form illumination of the aquarium. Intended use Exclusively use the HighLine Classic LED Daylight 40/60/70/100/120 as follows:

  • For illumination and facilitating biological processes in aquariums.
  • Operate in accordance with instructions. The following restrictions apply to the unit:
  • Only use indoors and for aquaristic purposes in the home (not for commercial use). COMMISSIONING/START-UP CAUTION Strong LED radiation! Possible consequences: Eye injury due to light flash.
  • Never look into the light source. Prerequisite:
  • The lamp is disconnected from the power supply.
  • The lamp is seated in the lamp holder and the lamp holder is fitted onto the aquarium. (→ Operating in- structions, HighLine Aquarium) How to proceed:

1. Insert the power plug into the socket.

– Ensure that the connection cable forms a drip loop.

2. Switch on the lamp.

CLEANING WARNING Possible death or severe injury from hazardous electri- cal voltage!

  • Prior to reaching into the water, isolate (switch off and disconnect) all units/devices used in the water.
  • Isolate the device (disconnect from the power sup- ply) before carrying out any work on it. NOTE Do not use any chemical cleaning agents as they are harmful to plants, animals and the environment.
  • If necessary, clean with clear water using a soft brush.
  • Do not use cleaning agents or chemical solutions. We recommend using OASE PumpClean for remov- ing calcium deposits. NOTE Recommendation on regular cleaning:
  • Clean the unit as required but at least twice per year. DISPOSAL NOTE This unit contains electronic components - do not dis- pose of this unit with domestic waste.
  • Render the unit unusable by cutting off the cables.
  • Dispose of the unit by using the return system pro- vided for this purpose.- EN -
