How to use the Livoo DOC289 plancha for the first time?

Before first use, clean the cooking plate with warm soapy water. Plug in the appliance and heat it empty for a few minutes to eliminate manufacturing residues. Place the grease collector under the drain hole.

Are the cooking plates dishwasher safe?

Yes, the removable plate and grease collector are dishwasher safe. The stand and base must be cleaned with a damp cloth.

How to adjust the temperature on the two cooking zones?

Use the rotary knobs (5 for the grill zone, 6 for the plancha zone). Turn to High for fast cooking or to Low for slow cooking. The appliance regulates the temperature automatically.

What to do if the plancha stops heating?

Check that the appliance is plugged in and the outlet works. Make sure the temperature knob is not set to OFF. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

Can I use metal utensils on the plate?
