Frequently Asked Questions - Life 35.1153.02 TFA

How to set the time on the TFA Life 35.1153.02 weather station?
Press and hold the SET button in normal mode. The year blinks. Use CH/▲ or MEM/▼ to adjust the year, then press SET to move to month, day, 12/24h format, hours and minutes. Confirm each setting with SET. The device exits the mode after 8 seconds of inactivity.
Why doesn't my station display outdoor temperatures?
Check that the transmitter batteries are correctly installed and new. Ensure the transmitter is within 60 m of the station, without major metal obstacles. You can force a search by pressing CH/▲ for 3 seconds on channel 1.
What does the displayed weather symbol mean?
The station displays 4 symbols based on humidity changes: sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, and rainy. The symbol is an indication of trends, not an absolute forecast.
How to display the maximum and minimum values?
Press MEM/▼ to view the maximum (MAX) indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values. Press again for the minimum (MIN). To return to normal mode, press again. To clear the stored values, press and hold MEM/▼ for 3 seconds.
Can I add multiple outdoor transmitters?
Yes, you can add up to 3 transmitters (ref. 30.3241.02). For each transmitter, set the CH switch in the battery compartment to a different channel (1, 2, or 3). Then, on the station, press CH/▲ to select the desired channel and hold it for 3 seconds to start reception.
What to do if the station display is dim or missing?
First check the polarity and condition of the station batteries. Replace them with new batteries if necessary. If the display remains absent, reset the station by removing the batteries for a few seconds and reinserting them.
How to clean the weather station?
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Never use solvents or abrasive products. Take care not to let moisture enter the device.
Is the transmission range really 60 meters?
Yes, up to 60 meters in open field. Thick walls, especially with metal parts, may reduce the range. If reception is poor, try moving the transmitter or station to improve the link.
How to dispose of the station and used batteries?
Do not dispose of the device or batteries in household waste. Discard used batteries at a designated collection point. The device must be recycled at an approved treatment center in accordance with the WEEE directive.
Why does the battery symbol appear on the screen?
This symbol indicates that the transmitter batteries are low and need to be replaced. After replacement, you must re-establish the link between the transmitter and the station by performing a manual search (press CH/▲ for 3 seconds).

How to set the day, month, and time on the TFA Life 35.1153.02 weather station?
Frequently Asked Questions - 05/04/2026
Response Notice-Facile

To set the day, month, and time on your TFA Life 35.1153.02 weather station, press and hold the SET button in normal mode. The year display will start to blink: you can then adjust the year using the (plus) or (minus) button.

Press the SET button again to move to the next step. The adjustment order is fixed: first the month blinks, then the day, followed by the time format 24h or 12h (24 hours is the default setting), then the hours, and finally the minutes. At each step, use the or buttons to change the value.

Once you have set each parameter (year, month, day, time format, hours, minutes), confirm by pressing the SET button to move to the next parameter. To speed up the setting, you can hold down the or button during the adjustment: the device will then switch to fast scrolling, which is particularly useful for setting the year or minutes.

The station automatically exits the setting mode after 8 seconds of inactivity (if no button is pressed). You will then return to the normal display of time and date. If you made a mistake, you can start over by pressing and holding the SET button again.

Tip: if your weather station receives a radio signal for the time (radio-controlled function), make sure that manual setting does not conflict with automatic synchronization. Also, check that the batteries are in good condition to avoid losing the settings.
