Hand Blender Set / User Manual Please read this instruction manual thoroughly prior to using this appliance! Follow all safety instructions in order to avoid damages due to improper use! Keep the instruction manual for future reference. Should this appliance be given to a third party, then this instruction manual must also be handed over.
- This appliance is intended for private domestic use only and is not suitable for professional catering purposes. It should not be used for commercial use.
- The blades are very sharp! Handle the sharp blades with utmost care, especially during removing and cleaning, in order to avoid injuries.
- Never clean the appliance with bare hands. Always use a brush.
- Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not attach or remove the parts until the appliance comes to a complete stop.
- Always keep hair, clothing and any other utensils away from the appliance during operation in order to prevent injury and damages.
- The appliance is intended for domestic use only.
- Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- For additional protection, this appliance should be connected to a household faulty current protection switch with no more than 30 mA. Consult your electrician for advice.
- Do not immerse the appliance, power cord or power plug in water or in other liquids.
- Always pull out the power plug before assembling the appliance, after using the appliance, before disassembling, before cleaning the appliance, before leaving the room or if a fault occurs. Do not disconnect the plug by pulling on the cord.

- Never use the appliance if the power cord or the appliance is damaged.
- Our BEKO Household Appliances meet applicable safety standards, thus if the appliance or power cord is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced by the dealer, a service centre or a similarly qualified and authorized service person to avoid any dangers. Faulty or unqualified repair work may cause danger and risks to the user.
- Do not dismantle the appliance under any circumstances. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by improper handling.
- Always keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

- Do not operate the appliance without ingredients in the measuring beaker or chopping bowl.
- Never place the appliance, attachments, power cord or plug on hot surfaces such as gas or electric burners or hot oven surfaces and never use with hot liquids or food. Let hot food and liquids cool down to min. 80°C or less before using the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- Never switch on the appliance for longer than necessary for processing the food.
- Never use the appliance with damp or wet hands.
- Operate the appliance with delivered parts only.
- The appliance is designed to process only common household quantities.
- Do not use the appliance if the blades are damaged or show signs of wear.
- Make sure that there is no danger that the power cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could trip over it when the appliance is in use.
- Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is always accessible.
- A spatula may be used to remove the food from the measuring beaker and chopping bowl. Make sure that the appliance is switched off before doing this.
- We do not recommend operating the appliance with dry or hard foods or for ice crushing as this may conclude in dull blades.
- Remove bones and stones from food to prevent the blades and the appliance from being damaged.
- Make sure that the lid is seated properly on the chopping bowl before you switch on the appliance.

1.2 Compliance with the WEEE
Directive and disposal of waste products This appliance does not include harmful and prohibited materials specified in the “Regulation for Supervision of the Waste Electric and Electronic Appliances” issued by the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning. Complies with the WEEE Directive. This appliance has been manufactured with high quality parts and materials which can be reused and are suitable for recycling. Therefore, do not dispose the appliance with normal domestic waste at the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Ask the local authority in your area for these collection points. Help protect the environment and natural resources by recycling used appliances.

The packaging used for the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Please ensure that the packaging materials are disposed of as per the applicable local rules in order to include the materials in recycling process for environment protection.

1. Put the food that you would like to puree or mix in the measuring beaker (13) or a similar bowl. 2. Attach the blending attachment (7) to the motor unit (5) by pushing the attachment to the motor until it locks. Make sure the blending attachment is properly attached to the motor unit.3. Insert the plug into the wall socket.4. Immerse the blending attachment (7) in the measuring beaker (13), that contains the ingredients to be blended. To prevent the ingredients from splashing, do not press the On/Off button (3) or turbo button (4) until the blending attachment has been immersed in the ingredients. 5. Press and hold down the On/Off button (3). – The appliance starts operating. 6. Use the speed control (2) to select a speed or press and hold the turbo button (4).– The speed indicator LED (1) illuminates according to the desired speed 1-6. When you use the turbo button the appliance operates at maximum speed. In this case you cannot adjust the speed with the speed control (2). While using the turbo button (4), all speed indicator LEDs illuminate.7. Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the ingredients. Always switch off the appliance before taking out the processed food.8. Release the On/Off button (3) or turbo button (4) when you are finished and disconnect the power plug from the wall socket. Remove the mixture from the measuring beaker (13).9. Disassemble the blending attachment (7) only by pushing the attachment release buttons (6) at the sides of the appliance and pulling it off from the motor unit. To prevent overheating do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds. To prevent overflowing of the mixture do not overfill the measuring beaker (13) or bowl. Smaller amounts are easier to process. To prevent any accidents use the beaker lid as anti-slip rubber pad by putting the beaker base on the lid. If you would like to use the blending attachment directly in the pot, first take the pot off the stove to prevent the blending attachment from overheating.
Do not chop extremely hard items such as coffee beans, ice cubes, nutmeg, grains or bones. Remove stalks from herbs, shells from nuts and bones, tendons and gristle from meat. Cut the food in small pieces.1. Put the chopping bowl (10) on an even surface.2. Place the chopping blade (9) onto the fixed shaft in the chopping bowl (10).
WARNING: Be careful when inserting the chopping blade (9) as it is very sharp.
WARNING: Do not touch the chopping blade with bare hands.3. Place the ingredients in the chopping bowl (10).4. Put the chopping lid (8) on the chopping bowl (10). Make sure that the claws on the chopping lid are firmly locked on the bowl. WARNING: Never operate the appliance if the chopping lid is not properly seated on the chopping bowl, as this could damage the chopping blade.5. Put the motor unit (5) on the chopping lid (8). Push the motor unit so that it is firmly locked in place. Make sure the motor unit is securely attached to the chopping lid. During operation always hold the chopping bowl with one hand to prevent it from tipping over.6. Insert the plug into the wall socket.7. Press and hold down the On/Off button (3).– The appliance starts operating.8. Use the speed control (2) to select a speed or press and hold the turbo button (4).– The speed indicator LED (1) illuminates according to the desired speed 1-6.– While using the turbo button (4), all speed indicator LEDs illuminate. Do not use the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds. To achieve the best results press the On/Off button or turbo button intermittently.9. Release the On/Off button (3) or turbo button (4) when you finish the process and disconnect the power plug from the wall socket. Remove the motor unit (5) from the chopping lid (8) by pushing the attachment release buttons (6) at the sides of the appliance and pulling it off. Take the chopping lid (8) off. Take the chopping blade (9) out of the chopping bowl (10) carefully prior to removing the chopped food.11 / 78 EN Hand Blender Set / User Manual 3 Operaton Mixture Butter + Honey Butter taken from the freezer (should be kept in the freezer for min. 4 hrs. and cut into pieces of sizes approximately 10-15 mm x 35-40 mm) and honey taken from the refrigerator (should be kept in the refrigerator min. 1 day).
- You can use the balloon whisk (12) for whipping cream and beating eggs.
- Never process more than 4 egg whites or 200 ml cream.
1. Insert the balloon whisk (12) into the whisk
holder (11) until it clicks into place.
2. Connect the motor unit (5) to the whisk holder
(11) by putting the whisk holder onto the motor unit. Push the whisk holder to the motor unit. Make sure that the whisk holder is securely attached to the motor unit.
3. Put the ingredients that you would like to
process in the measuring beaker (13) or a similar bowl.
4. Insert the power plug into the wall socket.

4.1 Cleaning and care
WARNING: Never use petrol solvents, abrasive cleaners, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
WARNING: Do not touch the chopping blades with your bare hands. The blades are very sharp. Use a brush!
WARNING: Never put the motor unit (5) or power cord in water or any other liquids and never hold them under running water.1. Turn the appliance off and disconnect it from the wall socket.2. Let the appliance cool down completely.3. Use a damp soft cloth to clean the motor unit (5). 4. Immediately after using, clean the blending attachment (7), chopping lid (8) and whisk holder (11) with warm, soapy water and dry them thoroughly. Never wash them in dishwasher.5. Only the following parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher: balloon whisk (12), chopping bowl (10), chopping blade (9) and measuring beaker (13). Before using or storing the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully using a soft cloth.
- If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully. Make sure the appliance is unplugged and completely dry. • Store the appliance in a cool, dry place. Make sure the appliance is kept out of the reach of children.
