How do I assemble and set up my Thomson THJU2240 juicer?
Frequently Asked Questions - 04/05/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The Thomson THJU2240 juicer only works if you follow the exact assembly order. Start by washing all removable parts before the first use, then assemble the upper block by precisely aligning the red dots on each element. Firmly insert the compression silicone into the designated spot under the pulp spout - this is essential to prevent juice leaks.

Step 1 - Upper Block: Place the stainless steel filter in the juice extraction bowl, ensuring that the red dot on the filter aligns with the red dot on the bowl. Then insert the auger into the filter, and turn and push it until it clicks into place. This step is crucial as the auger must be locked in the correct position for you to close the lid of the feeding tube.

Step 2 - Closing the Upper Block: Place the feeding tube lid on the bowl, aligning its red dot with that of the bowl, then turn it clockwise until it locks. You will see a OPEN/CLOSE mark on the assembly - the lid must be in the CLOSED position for the device to operate.

Step 3 - Assembly with the Motor Base: Place the bowl with its assembled upper block on the motor base, ensuring that the 3 locking holes of the bowl perfectly align with the 3 feet of the base. Then position the juice container (capacity 700 ml) under the juice spout and the pulp container under the pulp spout.

Final Check: Ensure that all elements are correctly locked and no part moves. The Thomson THJU2240 juicer will only start if all components are correctly assembled - this is an integrated safety system. If you encounter difficulties or if the device does not start after assembly, completely disassemble it and check that the red dots are well aligned at each step, especially for the filter and the feeding tube lid.
