How to replace the door gasket?

Remove the old gasket by pulling it out of the groove, then insert the new one starting at the corners. Use a hairdryer to reshape it if necessary. Refer to section 4.1 of the manual.

What to do if the LED lighting no longer works?

Unplug the appliance, remove the LED lighting by moving it to the left and releasing the hooks. Replace with a new one and plug back in. See section 4.10.

How to defrost my freezer?

Unplug the appliance, remove the food and bins, leave the door open to let the ice melt. Do not use sharp tools to speed up the process.

The door does not close properly, what to do?

Check that the gasket is not worn or deformed. If necessary, replace the gasket or adjust the hinges. Refer to sections 4.1 and 4.4.

How to replace the ice maker?

Remove the frozen food bin drawer, unhook the ice maker hooks, then remove it. Install the new one in reverse order (section 4.9).

The appliance makes an unusual noise, is this normal?

Some noises are normal (compressor, gas circulation). If the noise is loud or irregular, check that the appliance is level and that the interior parts are securely fastened.

What is the power consumption?

Consumption depends on use. For an estimate, check the appliance's energy label (estimated A+ class). The manual does not provide a precise value.

Can I repair the electrical components myself?

Yes, some repairs such as replacing the LED lighting are possible. For any electrical intervention, unplug the appliance for 60 seconds beforehand and perform a safety test after repair (see section 2.1).

Where to find spare parts?

The door gasket is deformed, how to straighten it?

Heat the gasket with a hairdryer or hot water, then reshape it manually before inserting. A slight deformation is normal (section 4.1.2).

Errors by repairs involving electrical components can lead to electrical shock!
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains for at least 60 seconds before starting work.
After the repair have a safety test according VDE 0701 or country-specific regulations performed.

Wear protective gloves.

Risk of crushing during repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and service due to heavy and moving components

Prerequisite:
Door is open.

1. Release door gasket from the groove on right and left corner.

1. Pull out door gasket from groove.

Door gasket is removed.

	Thickness of new door gasket may deviate slightly from thickness of old door gasket. This will not affect closing behavior and long-term function.
	If your appliance has adjustable hinges or hinge attachments, you can optimize the closing behavior subsequently.
	Small side holes in door gasket are functional (required for ventilation). These are not production faults.

Repair

1. Check groove for gasket for damage.

1. If groove for gasket is it is damaged.
2. Contact customer service.
3. Slight deformation of door gasket is normal and does not affect its function. It is recommended to straighten door gasket before inserting it into appliance.
