Before first use Remove all packaging materials and do not leave the packaging material such as plastic bags, polystyrene and elastic bands in easy reach of children as they may cause serious injuries. Place the appliance on a dry, flat and stable surface such as countertop or table. Wash all accessories with a sponge damped with dishwashing liquid and rinse thoroughly in hot water. Let it dry or wipe it with clean cloth before using the appliance. Installation

ASSEMBLING THE GLASS JAR

Put the rubber sealing ring (4) on the inner edge of the blade unit (5). Put the blade unit with sealing ring into the cup base (6). Insert the assembled Cup Base onto the bottom of the glass jar and secure tightly. Mount the glass cup (3) onto the cup base unit and tune the cup base unit, and turn clockwise until glass jar locks into place. Mount the Measure Cup (1) onto the Lid (2). Secure the Lid onto Glass Jar and press down.

INSERTING THE GLASS JAR

Make sure that the blender is switched off (Switch in the ‘0’ setting). Place the jar assembly (9) on to the motor base (7) and press down until securely engaged. Using your blender

Warning Operate the motor for a maximum of 60 seconds or alternating 60 seconds on, then 60 seconds off to prevent overheating or consequent damage. After using the blender, always move the switch into the ‘0’ setting and pull out the mains plug. To remove the glass jar simply lift it off the motor base. You do not have to rotate the glass jar to remove it. Useful tips

• To achieve the best results when pureeing solid ingredients, place small portions into the glass jar one by one instead of placing a large quantity all at once.ENGLISH

• If you are processing solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2-3cm) first.

• When mixing solid ingredients start off first with a small amount of liquid. Gradually add more and more liquid through the opening in the lid.

• Always place your hand on top of the blender when you are operating the device.

• Be careful when processing hot liquids.

• For stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients we recommend that you use the blender in impulse mode to prevent the blades from becoming stuck.

Troubleshooting Issues Action The appliance cannot be switched on. Check that the electric cable has been properly plugged into the appliance and into the main socket. The appliance stops during operation. It may due to overloading, we recommend you switch off the appliance, take out the bowl to reduce the preparation volume, wait 10 minutes for the motor to cool down before placing back the bowl into its base and start again the operation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. At the end of your cooking and / or mixing preparations, check you have turn off all the buttons.

2. Switch off the appliance by selecting 0.

3. Unplug the appliance from the main supply socket.

4. Always let the appliance to cool down for at least one hour before starting any cleaning operation.

do not immerse the main body and the bowl under water or place in a dishwasher. How to clean the main body: Use a non-abrasive damp cloth with a gentle cleaning product then dry the appliance with a clean cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads. They could scratch the surface and damage the appliance. How to clean the accessories: The accessories can be washed in a dishwasher with temperature setting less than 90°c. Or you can wash them manually rinse it with hot water, pour out the dirty water, wipe the inside with a sponge damped with neutral dishwashing liquid then rinse thoroughly the inside with hot water. Wipe out with a clean damp cloth before placing it on a clean surface to dry.

WARNING: Do not touch the blades during operation! Extra care shall be taken when handling the

sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during the cleaning process! During operation the cup shall only be remove when the speed level is set in 1. NEVER remove the cup when using the Turbo mode and when setting the speed over level 2 to avoid hot food and liquid splashing! Only use the measuring cup provided from the manufacturer to avoid any hazards! Never exceed the maximum filling mark to avoid getting burned by hot food splashing!

WARNING: In any case, do not try to repair by yourself the appliance, ensure to contact the

manufacturer, its service agent or an authorized repair center in order to avoid a hazard.ENGLISH

To remove tough cooked-on food, fill the bowl with hot soapy water, let it soaked for 30 minutes before starting the cleaning operation with a plastic brush.
