- THE STEAM GENERATOR MUST BE USED AND PLACED ON A FLAT, STABLE, HEAT AND WATER RESISTANT SURFACE. DO NOT PLACE IT ON A SOFT IRONING BOARD COVER OR ANY OTHER SOFT SURFACE. WHEN YOU PLACE THE STEAM GENERATOR ON THE IRON REST, MAKE SURE THE SURFACE ON WHICH PLACE IT IS STABLE.
- WHEN IN USE, THE SURFACES OF YOUR STEAM GENERATOR CAN REACH VERY HIGH TEMPERATURES, WHICH MAY CAUSE BURNS. DO NOT TOUCH THE HOT SURFACES OF THE APPLIANCE (ACCESSIBLE METAL PARTS AND PLASTIC PARTS ADJACENT TO THE METALLIC PARTS).

SET-UP AND USE
Before rst use
- Remove any scker, protece foil or storage cover from the soleplate.
- Place the appliance on a at and stable surface.
- Put the iron on the iron rest
- Unwind the power cord and the steam cord fully, and insert the power plug into the power socket.
- Set the thermostat buoy on the « MAX » posion, let the iron heat up for few minutes then start to iron on a cloth for few minutes in order to all the residue present on or under the soleplate.
NOTE: It is normal that strange odor comes out from the unit for the rst use. This will cease aer a short while. Some parcles may come out of the soleplate when you use the iron for the rst me. This is normal; the parcles are harmless and stop coming out of the iron aer a short while.
When you switch on the appliance, the steam staon iron may produce a pumping sound. This is normal; the sound tells you that water is pumped into the soleplate. During the heang process of the soleplate, there will be life steam coming out from the soleplate automatically and this phenomenon will connue for about 3 seconds.
Using your steam generator
1. Filling the tank water
Retrieve the water tank from its locaon, open the water tank filler. Fill in the water tank with a jug without exceeding the "MAX" level of water indicator then close the water tank lider before pung the water tank back into its locaon. Always check that you have well put back the water tank into its locaon before starng to use your steam generator.
Always II in the water tank before using the steam generator.
- You can alwaysrell your water tank when in use. Just follow the above step of water lling when the warning light indicator of low water level is on. Retrieve the water tank from its locaon, open the water tank Iler. Fill in the water tank with a jug without exceeding the "MAX" level of water indicator then close the water tank Iler before pung the water tank back into its locaon.

WARNING: The water tank base has a valve supplying the water to the boiler, therefore, checks that you have well put back the water tank into its locaon before starng to your steam generator. Otherwise, water may leak from the base.
Note: Your steam generator has been designed to funcon using tap water. If your tap water is very hard water type, we advise you to mix 50% tap water with 50% of distilled water available in most shops. In some waterfront areas, your water salt content can be high; in this case we recommend using only demineralized water. Always check that the water tank is properly secured in the device aer lling.
2. Steam ironing
Put the iron on the steam staon iron's thermal insulang cushion.
Connect the plug to wall outlet. Press on the buon On/O to switch on your steam generator, the power indicator light will turn on.
Turn temperature dial to your desired seng, which is depended on the fabric of garment, refer to IRONING TIPS laer. The soleplate starts to be heated up and the working indicator begins to illuminate.
- When the working indicator changes from illuminant to o, it means the selected temperature is reached and you now can start ironing.

WARNING: While in use, do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance (accessible metal parts and plasc parts adjacent to the metallic parts) to avoid geng burned!
3. Steam ironing
Retrieve the water tank from its locaon, open the water tank ller. Fill in the water tank with a jug without exceeding the "MAX" level of water indicator then close the water tank ller before pung the water tank back into its locaon. Always check that you have well put back the water tank into its locaon before starng to use your steam generator.
Put the iron on the steam staon iron's thermal insulang cushion.
Connect the plug to wall outlet. Press on the buon On/O to switch on your steam generator, the power indicator light will turn on.
✓ Turn the thermostat buon, select the seng between « Wool » and « Coon » to start steam ironing. The seng on « Synth. » shall not be used for steam ironing as the water may leak from the iron due to low temperature.
Press on the steam ow control buon to select your level of steam ow.

: Average steam ow

: High steam ow (100 gr/min)
The indicator light of your selected steam ow level will ash during the pre-heang phase (around 2 minutes), then will keep illuminang when the boiler reaches the desired steam heang. Please note, it's the reverse for the thermostat light located on the iron, it will turn o to indicate the iron reaches the desired heat.
Press the steam trigger to release steam for ironing. Do not turn the steam jet towards a person.
Aer ironing, you can put the iron the thermal insulang cushion. If there is no steam sprayed out from the soleplate within 8 minutes, the appliance will be turned o automatically. Remove the plug from the wall socket. But the soleplate is sll hot, never touch it with hand, place it on the thermal insulang cushion unl it cools down completely.
✓ The iron has an an-drip funcon. If iron garments too long me, the temperature of soleplate will decrease, the iron will stop coming out steam automatally and no water droplets can come out from soleplate.
Note: During ironing, the system may occasionally produce a pumping sound. This is normal and tells you that water is pumped into the soleplate.
WARNING: Do not touch hot soleplate at any me before cooling down! Never direct the steam at people! The supply cord may become hot during a long ironing session. Do not place the iron on a metal support when in use as it may damage the soleplate, always place the iron on the silicone support as it's equipped with thermal insulaon cushion designed to withstand high temperature.
4. Turning o your steam generator
Put the iron on the steam staon iron's thermal insulang cushion.
Press on the buon on/O and hold for few seconds to switch o your steam generator, when you hear a buzzing sound; you can disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
Always let your appliance cool down for at least one hour before storing it back. Pull the hook towards you then rewind the sector and the steam cord around the base before storing it back.

Ironing ps
Always check rst whether a label with ironing instrucons is aached to the arcle. Follow these ironing instrucons in any case.
If the fabric consists of various kinds of bers, you must always select the lowest ironing temperature to iron the composition of those bers.
- Never iron over zip, rivet in the cloth. This will damage the soleplate. Iron around any such object.

Cleaning and maintenance

Descaling and how to maintain your boiler: to keep your boilercient and to avoid any scale release, it is essenal to descale and to rinse the boiler when the warning indicator for descaling lights on.
Fill in the water tank to its maximal level, turn the thermostat knob to its maximal temperature, hold the iron vercal and press connuously the steam buon for 5 minutes.
Unplug your steam generator, wait unl it cool down then put it on a at and stable surface close to a sink.
Unscrew the drain water cap located at the boom of the boiler, Il the boiler 34 full of water, shake the boiler then empty it into the sink.
WARNING: Always let your steam generator unplugged and cool down for at least one hour before any cleaning operaon! To start the cleaning process, put your appliance close to a sink as water may come out of the tank when it is opened. Do not use any industrial or harsh descaling products when rinsing the boiler tank to avoid damaging the steam generator.
Always empty the water tank aer each use.
✓ Wipe akes and any other deposits on the soleplate with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
√ Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to scrape the soleplate.
Clean the upper part of iron with a so damp cloth. Wipe the water drop on the steam stoon iron and the thermal insulang cushion with dry cloth.
Never use sharp objects to remove the deposits of the sole.
Wind the iron cord and power cord around the cord winding groove and secure it by the cord clamps.
- Never hold the iron or the base unit under the tap water.
