ENGLISH SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not

play with the appliance.

3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of

children less than 8 years old.

4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety,

please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

5. If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the

Authorized Service Agent in order to avoid hazards.

6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.

7. Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it

is not working properly.

8. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.

9. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

10. Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before

14. WARNING: In case of misuse, there is a risk of possible

• The cutting blade is extremely sharp. Please handle it with great care.

• CAUTION: Do not touch the blade while it is turning: it is dangerous.

• Disconnect this appliance before changing attachments or moving parts.

ASSEMBLING - Step 1: Assemble Blade Assembly by Blade Attachment, then anticlockwise turn Blade Assembly till it is tight. See Fig 1. - Step 2: Turn adjusting knob to adjust the space between Slice Thickness Gauge and Blade. Press down by slight force while turning Adjusting knob. Turn Adjusting knob toward “+”, the thickness will increase. Turn Adjusting knob toward “-”, the thickness will reduce. The minimum thickness is 1 mm, the maximum thickness is 15MM. See Fig 2. - Step 3: Put plug in outlet correctly, set gear which you want, press switch on, then the appliance start to work. See Fig 3 - Step 4: Put food on Food Tray, then push food by Food Pusher, at same time push Food Tray hardly toward arrowhead (Food Tray must back-and-forth move). Notice: Must use Food Pusher to push food, don’t push food by hand, This appliance must be used with the sliding feed table and the piece holder in position unless this is not possible due to the size or shape of the food. See Fig 4. Range of Food which can be cut: Frozen meat without bone (example beef, mutton etc.), cooked food (example bread, cheese, sausage etc.), hard vegetable without stem (example carrot, white radish, cucumber etc.). Tip: Cut sausage and cheese first and bread last. The appliance is then easier to clean. - Step 5: After using, turn switch off, pull plug out from outlet. Toward arrowhead remove blade by Blade Attachment (see Fig 5), and Turn knob to adjust Slice Thickness Gauge to 0. See Fig. 5MS 4570

CLEANING l The switch has to be in position OFF and the appliance has to be unplugged from the power supply before cleaning the appliance. l Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a paper towel or a soft cloth. It should not be washed in a dishwasher. l Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the finish. l The blade can be removed for cleaning. To do so, use a screwdriver to loosen the three bolts on the blade and take off the blade carefully. After cleaning, install the blade with the bolts. l Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. l Dry all parts well before storage.

Disposal of old electrical appliances. The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
