12 Control PanelCongratulations on your purchase of the Livingston Handy Heater – the wall outlet space heater! This cordless ceramic space heater provides quick and easy heat almost anywhere in your home. Just plug it in, and enjoy the extra warmth. The two-speed fan ensures you are always comfortable! The easy to read digital display lets you set any temperature between 15 °-32 °C.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following: Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to operate or install the product.
DESIGNED FOR IN-WALL OUTLET USE ONLY
CAUTION: some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
WARNINGS: Do not use cord extension sets, multiple socket outlets or adaptors to avoid a risk of danger. Plug it only into wall socket outlet.

WARNINGS: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using this heater.
- Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surface. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 0.9m from the heater.
- Ensure heater is plugged into a socket in vertical wall when use, keep at least 20cm unobstructed space to the bottom air inlet of heater to allow for ventilation to avoid a risk of danger.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Do not use the heater in the bathroom within a distance of 3.0m in all directions away from the bathtub, shower head, water tap or other water container (see below figure) and any other positions subjected to splash. Please make sure the heater can't be touched by persons who are taking a bath. Do not use the heater in laundry areas and similar indoor
locations where splash may occur. The heater shall be in a position that, after being plugged in the socket outlet, the bottom line of the appliance kept at least 0.2m above the floor. - Do not run heater under carpeting. Do not cover heater with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
- Set the switch to OFF to switch off the appliance. Let the appliance fully cool down. Only then remove the connection plug from the supply.

R=3.0M Heater- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacture may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
→ Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
→ Farm houses;
→ By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
→ Bed and breakfast type environments.

Only after that, remove the connection plug from the supply. Store the appliance cool and dry until the next time of use.
SETTING TIMER
Livington Handy Heater has a built-in-timer that will automatically turn the unit off after a set amount of time.

12 Speed Time- While the Livingston Handy Heater is plugged in and turned on, press the „Timer Button“ to activate timer, as shown.
- Repeatedly press „Timer Button“ to set number of hours before the Livingston Handy Heater turns off. You can choose between 1-12 hours.
- Once desired hours have been chosen, stop pressing „Timer Button“ to set.
- To cancel timer, turn the Livingston Handy Heater off.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Before beginning any maintenance, unplug your Livingston Handy Heater Deluxe and allow to cool completely. To clean, wipe the exterior with a non-abrasive, damp cloth. Use a mild soap if needed. Dry with a soft cloth.
CAUTION: DO NOT LET LIQUID ENTER THE HEATER
Do NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniturepolish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage to the casing of the heater. Do NOT immerse the Livingston Handy Heater in water. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use. Store unit in a cool dry place when not in use.

- Use on wall only.
- Always plug heater directly into a wall outlet. Never use with an extension cord or power strip.

- This heater is not intended for use in wet or moist areas. Never install heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other similar locations.

ENVIRONMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS

Do not dispose this product at the end of its service life through normal domestic waste. It has to be disposed through a collection agency that recycles electric and electronic devices. This is pointed out by the symbol on the product, in the instruction manual, and on the packaging. Please inquire about local collection agencies that may be operated by your distributor or your municipal administration. By recycling, making use of the materials, or other forms of recycling old units you are making an important contribution to protecting our environment.

The packaging can be recycled. Dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner and recycle it appropriately.
