How to prepare my first cup of coffee?
Before first use, rinse the appliance 2-3 times with water without coffee. Then fill the water tank with cold water up to the max level, add ground coffee to the permanent filter, place the cup without lid, and turn on the appliance. After the cycle, turn off and enjoy.
Can I use very finely ground coffee?
It is recommended to use medium ground coffee. Too fine a grind can clog the permanent filter pores and slow down the brewing.

  • Your coffee maker is only intended for making coffee.
  • Place the appliance on an even and heat-resistant surface.
  • Attention: The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high during operation. Therefore, do not touch the appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Danger of serious burns!

- Never open the filter cover or the filter holder respectively during operation, hot steam evaporates. Danger of serious burns!

- Never operate the appliance without water.

- Never exceed the Max. filling level to avoid any water from spilling. Danger of serious burns!

Before First Use

  • Remove all packaging material and check whether the appliance is complete and undamaged.
    • Fully unwind the power cord.
  • Clean the detachable parts as described under Cleaning and Care.
  • Place the appliance on an even and heat resistant surface and connect it to a properly installed wall socket.
  • Before making your first coffee, rinse the unit by filling the water tank up to the Max. level and operate it 2-3 times without coffee powder. After that your coffee maker is ready for operation.

Note: After each rinse cycle has been completed, the appliance has to be switched off for approx.

5 minutes, in order to cool down.

In order to repeat the rinse cycle, press the reset button on the rear of the appliance.

Operation

This coffee maker is perfect for people who love their coffee on the go. Brew, take the cup, screw on the lid and enjoy!

Brewing Coffee

  1. Place the appliance on an even and heat resistant surface and connect it to a properly installed wall socket.
  2. Open the appliance lid and fill the water tank with the required amount of cold, fresh tap water. The marking

inside the water tank indicates the required water level.

Never exceed the Max. filling level to avoid hot v spilling from the appliance.

The amount of water used depends on your personal coffee taste.

  1. Turn the water outlet sideways to insert the filter holder and permanent filter.

Make sure that the filter holder and permanent filter are properly inserted and aligned!

  1. Add, according to your taste, the desired amount of grounded coffee into the filter.

For each cup of coffee, use one leveled measuring spoon of grounded coffee. For stronger or milder coffee, adjust the amount of coffee.

  1. Place the water outlet directly over the filter holder and close the lid.

Note: Always make sure to place the water outlet by over the filter holder.

  1. Make sure that the drip tray is properly attached.

  2. Place the coffee cup (without lid) into the appliance. Press the On/Off switch to switch on the appliance. The integrated indicator light indicates that the appliance is in operation.

  3. After the brewing cycle is completed (no more water is dripping through the filter), the indicator light goes off and the coffee cup can be removed.

  4. Press the On/Off switch to switch off the appliance.

If you wish to prepare more than one cup of coffee,

press the reset button on the rear of the appliance. After each brewing cycle, the appliance has to be switched off for approx.5 minutes, in order to cool down.

Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if you are not using it!

Coffee Cup

Once the brewing cycle is completed, remove the cup from the appliance and carefully screw the lid onto the cup and make sure that it is locked.

Note:

The cup nor the lid are drip or leak-proof. In order to carry the cup, just flip out its carrying handle.

Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning, always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains. Let it completely cool down.

Never immerse the appliance in water. Danger! Electric Shock!

Clean the body of the appliance with a moistened soft cloth.

Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents and/or other hard objects to clean the appliance.

The coffee cup and lid and all other detachable parts are not dishwasher safe!

Coffee cup, lid and all detachable parts can be cleaned in warm water using some dishwashing detergent, rinse them afterwards and dry them thoroughly.

DESCALING

Depending on the water quality and usage, calcification can occur. Therefore, to keep your coffee maker operating efficiently, you should descale it on a regular basis.

Never use any sharp, pointed or metal objects to remove limescale built up in the appliance.

To remove limescale, use a common gentle descaler, which is suitable for your appliance. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

After descaling, always rinse your appliance as described under Before First Use.

Note: Descaler mixtures should not be poured down enamel coated sinks.

Storage

Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it completely cool down.

Keep the appliance away from children and store it in a clean and dry place.
