How to clean the milk frother?

Remove the container from the base and separate the lid and silicone seal. Clean the inner walls with hot water and a non-abrasive cloth. Never immerse the container or base in water. The whisk can be washed in hot water. Do not use a dishwasher.

What type of milk to use for good foam?

Use whole milk (fat content >3.0%) and very cold (straight from the refrigerator) for optimal foam.

What is the maximum capacity for frothing milk?

The maximum capacity for preparing milk foam is 150 ml. Do not exceed the lower 'MAX' mark.

Can I heat milk without frothing?

Yes, use the 'Stir + reheat' mode (upper 'MAX' mark up to 300 ml). Do not select a foam program with this quantity.

How to start a program?

Press the 'Mode' button several times until the LED of the desired mode flashes. After about 3 seconds, the LED becomes steady and the program starts. To interrupt, press 'Mode' again.

Does the device shut off automatically?

Yes, the milk frother turns off automatically at the end of the program. You can also stop it prematurely by pressing the 'Mode' button.

Can I add cocoa or coffee to the frother?

Yes, but clean the device immediately and thoroughly after use to avoid residues. Preferably use the 'Stir + reheat' mode.

2. Before first use

• Unpack the box with care and retain all packaging materials until you have ensured that the product is complete and working properly

• Remove all packaging materials and film and keep them for possible future use. Check that the appliance has been delivered complete and is in perfect condition

• Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the container and accessories as described in the chapter „Cleaning and care" to remove dust or production residues

5. Usage

Remove the appliance from the packaging and remove all packaging material. Check that the delivery is complete. Remove any protective film and the sticker that you find inside the container. Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.

Insert the whisk into the appliance if it is not inserted correctly.

Connect the power cable with the base unit to a properly connected socket. Remove the milk frother from the base unit and pour in the milk. Fill the container with enough milk to reach at least the minimum (MIN) fill level mark. However, never pour in milk above the upper maximum (MAX) markings. Otherwise the appliance may overflow.

Note: The 'MIN' mark indicates the minimum fill level. The lower 'MAX' mark indicates the maximum fill level when preparing milk foam. The upper 'MAX' mark indicates the maximum fill level when heating milk.

Caution! Never select a programme for preparing milk foam with this fill level, as the milk cannot be prevented from overflowing.

The "Mode" button is used to select the mode of the milk frother. Press the button as often as necessary until the desired mode is active (indicated by the status LED of the corresponding mode lighting up).

If the button is not pressed for about three seconds, the flashing status LED of the corresponding mode changes to a steady light and the selected mode is active. When the programme is finished, the milk frother switches off automatically. Premature cancellation is possible at any time by pressing the "Mode" button again

The programme duration depends on the selected mode and the amount of liquid used.

6. Tips and tricks

This chapter contains some useful tips to help you get the most out of your milk frother.

• For optimum milk froth, only use cold milk that has previously been stored in the refrigerator.
• Always use your milk frother first to froth or heat milk. Prepare your coffee or hot chocolate during the process and serve the drink as soon as it is ready.
• Use whole milk (fat content >3.0% ) for the best results.
• Cold milk can be frothed with this milk frother. However, this does not mean that you can use the appliance to cool the milk. The milk frother works at a normal temperature in this state.

• Keep the frother inserts in a safe place. They are small and can easily be lost.

• After frothing or heating, allow the appliance to cool down for two minutes until the thermostat is reset and the milk frother is ready for use again. Rinsing with water and then drying after each use will reduce this time.

• The milk frother is designed to froth and heat milk. If you add flavourings such as coffee or cocoa powder to the milk frother, make sure that the appliance is cleaned thoroughly immediately after use.

8. Cleaning and care

Remove the container from the base unit before cleaning. Separate the lid and the silicone seal from the container. Never immerse the container or the base unit in water.

The container	Please clean immediately after each use. Rinse and clean the inside walls with warm water and a non-abrasive cloth. Dry the container with a soft cloth. Never leave frothed, heated milk or other drinks unused in the container.
The lid	Separate the lid and the silicone ring from the container. Wash directly with water.
The housing	Clean the housing with a soft cloth. Never use sharp cleaning objects, hard nylon brushes or metal brushes to avoid scratching the stainless steel surface! Never clean with metal objects or abrasive cleaners.
The stirring insert	Remove the stirring insert from the container and wash it with warm water. Dry the brooms and store them in a safe place. Please do not use a dishwasher for this purpose.
