What are the operation symbols of the Braun PurEase HT3010 toaster and what do they mean?
Frequently Asked Questions - 02/04/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The Braun PurEase HT3010 toaster has several symbols and control buttons that make it easy to use. Most functions are accessible via buttons located on the top of the device.

Main control buttons:

  • Defrost button (1): This button allows you to defrost and toast frozen bread in a single cycle. The toaster automatically increases the cooking time so that the bread is first defrosted and then toasted.
  • Stop button (2): This button immediately stops the toasting cycle at any time if you wish to remove the bread earlier than planned.
  • Reheat button (3): This button reheats already toasted bread with a short cycle. Ideal for reviving cooled toast.

Adjustment controls:

  • Browning control (5): Graduated from 1 to 7, it allows you to adjust the browning intensity. Level 1 corresponds to light and pale toasting, while level 7 gives very golden and crispy bread. To be adjusted according to the type, thickness, and freshness of the bread.
  • Pastry support (6): Present on some models, this support is recognized by the small bread symbol on the browning control. It allows you to reheat pastries and small breads by positioning the regulator on this symbol.
  • Toast lift lever (4): Used to lower the bread into the slots before toasting and to eject it at the end of the cycle. It has a lift function that allows you to raise the bread further after cooking.

Other elements:

  • Crum tray (8): Removable drawer located under the device to be emptied regularly for optimal maintenance.
  • Dust cover (10): On some models, this cover protects the slots when the device is not in use.
