ACCIDENTS FOR TODDLERS AND CHILDREN! Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation.5 GB/IE/NI Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Always keep children away from the packaging material. DANGER OF INJURY! Please note that the handles may become hot during cooking. For your safety, use a potholder or barbecue gloves. Do not use the lid if the knob is loose. Never use the product if the handles are loose. Retighten the screw joint of the handles if necessary. DANGER OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY! The product in which fat is being heated up must never be left unat- tended. Fat can very quickly overheat and ignite. Never try to ex- tinguish a fat fire with water. Cover the flames with a pot lid or a thick cloth. Use heat resistant plastic or wooden kitchen utensils in order not to damage the non-stick coating. Do not cut food directly in the prod uct. Do not place meat which is still dripping with liquid into hot fat. The fat splattering out on to a hot hob could easily cause a fire. To avoid heat loss, choose a hotplate with a diameter of the product that matches. The diameter size of this product is approx. Ø 15.9 cm. The product is suitable for keeping dishes warm inside the oven (max. 160 °C for 1 hour). Clean the product after used. We recommend cleaning by hand with hot water and detergent as the cleaning in the dishwasher can cause discoloration of the aluminum parts. ATTENTION! The glass lid is fragile / not impact-resistant! For washing the product by hand, use hot water with a little ordi nary washing-up liquid. Avoid using sharp or pointed objects for this in order not to damage the coating. Do not use harsh scouring agents.6 GB/IE/NI ATTENTION! RISK OF SCRATCHES! Do not move the product back and forth on glass-ceramic hobs! We recommend before cook- ing to wipe briefly the surface of the hob and the product bottom with a clean, lint-free cloth (e.g. microfiber) to reduce the risk of scratches. Never hold the hot product under cold running water. The under- side of the product may be damaged or fall off. FOOD-SAFE! This product has no adverse effect on taste or smell. The product is suitable for the dishwasher. Note for induction hobs Note: A noise may occur under certain conditions, resulting from the electromagnetic properties of the heat source and the product. This is totally normal and does not imply that your induction hob or your product is damaged. Place the product in the middle of the induction hotplate. CAUTION! High heating-up rate! Do not overheat the product when preheating. The room must be aired out well, in the event the product overheat. Usage Before first use, remove any stickers or labels from the product and rinse it in hot water. Before using the product for the first time, boil it out with water 2 to 3 times to completely remove all manufacturing residue.7 GB/IE/NI Lightly grease the product. Do not overheat the product while empty or filled to prevent the non-stick effect from weakening due to damage to the coating. Heat up the food at a higher / medium heat setting and then let it cook at a lower heat setting until ready. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities. Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product. Warranty The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and me- ticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below. The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.8 GB/IE/NI The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture.
