USER MANUAL PC 4500 Orbegozo

Read this manual carefully before running this appliance and save it for reference in order to obtain the best results and ensure safe use.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
• Do not repair the device yourself, but rather consult an authorized expert.
• Use the device only for the intended purpose.

Caution

• Make sure your hands and the appliance are dry when you insert the batteries.
• A microwave oven or a mobile phone may cause interference, which can lead to unreliable weighing results.
• Use the scale at a safe distance of at least 1.5 meters from a working microwave oven, or switch off the microwave oven.

Weighing

1. Strap the webbing belt through the luggage handle, and secure the hook of the belt onto the triangle ring.
2. Press button to switch on the scale before lifting (ensure no stress). You will hear 2 beeps after switching on.
3. When display does not show zero, press button to reset LCD to zero.
4. Lift the scale gently. Make sure the scale is horizontal and balanced. LCD shows the weight of luggage.
   Wait for the weight reading to stop and stabilize, flash 3 times and locked. You will hear 2 beeps after locking on. Usually weight reading will be locked in 2-3 seconds. It will be longer if the weighing object is heavy. Scale will display weight
   reading for 2 minutes and automatically switch off.
5. When weight reading is locked, press button to reset LCD display to zero. You will hear 1 beep. Then you can start new weighing.
6. Press button for 3 seconds to switch the scale off. You will hear 1 beep after switching off.

To convert weight unit

When the scale is power off, press button for about 3 seconds, LCD shows zero and the weight unit is flashing. Press button to select weight unit. After idle for 3 seconds, the weight unit is set and you can start weighing.

Warning indicators

1. Replace new battery.
2. Scale overload. Remove item to avoid damage.Max.weight capacity is indicated on the scale.

Power

The scale is powered by 1X3V lithium cell (CR2032). At the first time of use, open battery case cover on the right end of the scale. Remove battery isolation sheet before use.

To replace battery

LCD will display "Lo" when battery power is low. Replace battery as follows:

1. Hold the scale in one hand. The thumb and index finger of the other hand hold and press on the screw threads of the battery case and pull out the battery case from the slot.
2. Push corner A outswards to release the used battery.
3. To insert new battery, slide one side of new battery beneath the retainer notch B & C. Press the other side of battery till it clips underneath the corner A.

Ensure to observe the polarity as illustrated in the drawing.

1. Insert the battery case back to the slot on the scale.

Care and maintenance

1. Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical / abrasive cleaning agents.
2. DO NOT stress the triangle ring for long time. During travel, keep the scale away from objects with sharp ends (such as toy, stationery etc.), in case the scale is switched on frequently and consume battery power.
3. To make sure accuracy, DO NOT use this scale in strong-magnetic field.
4. Keep the scale away from babies and children to avoid danger of swallow the batteries and small components.

Before you use the universal adaptor, please read the following instruction manual first. This universal adaptor is a compact one piece unit with 4 international adaptors, and provides a child protection safety shutter, power indicator light and surge protector.

1. For EUROPE, just pull out the plug in the middle. After using it, just push the plug back into the pit.

2. For UK / SPAIN push the button to the "UNLOCK" position. The plug will flip out, pull out the white plastic pin, and then push the button to the "Lock" position. After using it, push the button to the "UNLOCK" position and push back the plug into the hole then push the button to the "Lock" position.

3. For USA / JAPAN / CHINA / AUST / THAILAND, push the button to the "UNLOCK" position. The plug will flip out, then swivel the plug to the angle you want and push the button to the "Lock" position. After using it, push the button to the "UNLOCK" position and push back the plug into the hole then push the button to the "Lock" position.
4. You can plug this into any available power outlet and then connect your device to the universal adaptor. If the indication light shows red, it indicates that the universal adaptor is working.

WARNING:

1. Make sure your hands are dry before using the universal adaptor.
2. Keep this away from children.
3. This unit does not convert voltage. Make sure that the power outlet you intend to use has the proper voltage to run your device before using the adaptor to avoid possible damage to your device.
4. Do not connect more than one plug at a time when using product.
5. The appliance isn't destined for the use of children or person with physical or mental problems and without experience nor knowledge; unless they make it down control of a responsible or professional for the use of the appliance.

Disposal of old electrical appliances.

The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.

The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.

Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
