How to charge the GC930 Advance clipper for the first time?

Before the first charge, it is recommended to fully discharge the battery. Plug the adapter into the device or the charging base. The first charge takes 3 hours. Subsequent charges take about 2 hours.

Can I use the clipper plugged in if the battery is empty?

Yes, the clipper can be used directly plugged into the mains even if the battery is discharged.

How to adjust the cutting height?

Without a comb, use the adjustment on the body to choose between 0.8 mm, 1.1 mm, 1.4 mm, 1.7 mm or 2.0 mm. With the included guide combs, you get lengths of 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm or 12 mm.

How to activate Turbo mode?

Turn on the clipper with the O/I button, then push it a second time upward. The screen displays "TURBO" and maximum speed is activated.

How to clean and maintain the clipper?

Make sure the device is off and unplugged. Remove the attachment, then use the provided brush to remove hair between the blades and behind the head. Never immerse the clipper in water. Lubricate the blade with a few drops of oil every two months.

What to do if the blades no longer cut effectively?

First check the lubrication and clean the blades. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer as the blade head should not be disassembled under penalty of warranty void.

Is the battery replaceable?

No, the internal battery should not be replaced by the user. Any attempt causes a risk of fire or electric shock and voids the warranty.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

Before using the hair clipper the hair must be clean and dry. We recommend cutting small quantities of hair at a time, adjusting the cutting length gradually until finding the one you want. The blades risk getting stuck if too fast movements are made or if a lot of hair is cut at the same time. It can be used without attachment comb to trim beard, neck hair and sideburns.

CHARGING PROCESS:

Before charging the hair clipper for the first time we recommend fully discharging the battery and then fully charging it.

1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off.

2. Plug the adapter into the power outlet and then connect it to the device. The percentage of remaining power and the flashing symbol of the connected plug will be shown in blue on the digital display during charging. The charging base can also be used to charge the device and, therefore, the adapter plug must be installed directly on the base. In this case, also the charging base too will turn blue. When charging is complete, the plug symbol will stop flashing and 99 will be shown on the digital display, to indicate that the adapter is fully charged.

The first charge takes 3 hours. Subsequent charges take about 2 hours. When fully charged, the battery will last about 240 minutes.

1. Disconnect the adapter from the outlet once the device is fully charged.

2. The hair clipper may be used connected directly to the power outlet if the battery charge is depleted.

The duration of the battery varies based on usage frequency and times. To increase the lifespan of the batteries, this procedure should be carried out at least twice every 12 months, discharging the battery completely and recharging it for the maximum time. If the appliance is not used often, remember in any case to carry out a charging cycle every so often during the year to keep it working efficiently. On the contrary, when the charging is finished, do not keep the appliance connected to the mains to prevent the battery from overcharging and damaging the appliance.

WARNING: Do not attempt to replace the internal battery of the hair clipper. This can lead to the risk of fire or electric shock. Tampering invalidates the warranty on the product.

Lubricate the blade before the first use. Read the instructions contained in the section "HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE"

USE INSTRUCTIONS:

- Insert the desired attachment. This operation should always be done with the hair clipper turned off.

- Turn on the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.

- Turn off the hair clipper by pressing the (O/I) button.

INSERTION OF COMBS:

The supplied combs have two lateral seats for an easier snapping on the base. To insert them on the hair clipper, lay the blade on the comb and make it slide on the comb until you hear a slight click: the comb will thus be properly inserted. To remove the combs just extract them making the blade slide outwards.

CUTTING LENGTH ADJUSTMENT:

GC930 ADVANCE can be used for trimming and finishing touches, when used without attachment comb and with the blade regulator on the main body, which features the following lengths: 0.8 mm, 1.1 mm, 1.4 mm, 1.7 mm and 2.0 mm. Otherwise, you can use the four attachment combs supplied to achieve a classic hair cut to the following lengths: 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm.

TURBO FUNCTION:

This function makes it possible to use the hair clipper at maximum speed. To activate, switch the appliance on using the (O/I) button, then push it upwards one more time: the word TURBO will appear on the digital display.

CORD-CORDLESS FUNCTION:

This function makes it possible to use the hair clipper with and without the cord. If the appliance does not have sufficient charge for use, it can be connected directly to the power supply without interrupting the cutting in progress.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

A clean and properly lubricated hair clipper considerably improves its capacity and cutting precision. DO NOT CLEAN ANY PART OF THE APPLIANCE UNDER RUNNING WATER.

CLEANING THE HEAD:

Before any cleaning operation, make sure that the appliance is properly turned off and disconnected from the power outlet. Remove the accessory if it is inserted. Using the special brush supplied, remove any hair residues between the blades and the back of the blade head.

NEVER DISASSEMBLE THE HEAD OF THE BLADE OR YOU WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY ON THE ENTIRE PRODUCT.

HOW AND WHEN TO LUBRICATE THE BLADE:

Before the first use we recommend lubricating the blade with a drop of the oil found in the package or with any other lubricating oil (make sure that it is not too viscous).

Turn the hair clipper upside down (Fig. 1) so that oil does not drip on the appliance. Lubricate the blade with a few drops of oil. Turn the appliance on for a few seconds so that the oil is distributed evenly along the entire blade. Then, using a dry cloth, eliminate any excess oil residues.

We recommend repeating this procedure every two months or more often, depending on product use.

BLADE DURATION:

The duration of the blade varies based on usage frequency and times. Although correct maintenance is performed, if the cutting efficiency is compromised, contact the manufacturer to have the entire head replaced.
