How to turn on and adjust the Beper RI.078 heater?

Plug in the appliance, then set the rear switch to I. Press button D to turn on the fan mode. Use buttons C to toggle between low, high and fan. Button B allows you to program the timer (0.5 to 7.5 h) and by pressing and holding for 3 seconds to set the temperature (18-45 °C). Button A activates oscillation.

How to use the remote control?

Remove the protective film from the battery compartment. The remote control operates with a CR2025 battery included. The buttons are identical to those on the control panel.

What to do if the heater suddenly turns off?

The product is equipped with overheat protection. Turn it off, unplug it and let it cool down for a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact support.

How to clean the heater?

Unplug the appliance. Use a soft damp cloth with soapy water. Do not use abrasive products. For the filter, clean it with a vacuum cleaner without opening the grille.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No, the product is intended for household indoor use only. Do not install it near water (shower, sink) to avoid any risk of electrocution.

How to assemble the base?

Attach part A to part B to form the base. Position it under the appliance and screw the supplied screws firmly.

Can the heater tip over easily?

The product is equipped with tip-over protection: it automatically turns off if it falls or is no longer stable.

What is the range of the remote control?

The remote control has a standard range (about 5 meters) in line of sight. Replace the battery if the range decreases.

Can I program the heater to turn off after a certain time?

Yes, press button B to set the timer from 0.5 to 7.5 hours. The appliance will turn off automatically.

What to do in case of malfunction during warranty?

The warranty is 24 months. Contact your retailer or [e-mail] to find the nearest authorized center. Keep the receipt.

READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE FIRST USE OF THE APPLIANCE.

Read the following instructions carefully, since they give you useful safety information about installation, use and maintenance and help you avoid mishaps and possible accidents.

Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact, with special attention to the supply cable. The elements of the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc) do not have to be accessible to the children, in order to preserve them from danger sources.

It is recommended not to throw these packing material in the domestic waste, but to deliver them to the appropriate station of collection or destruction refusals, asking eventually information to the manager of the Sanitation Department of your own municipality.

Before connecting the appliance make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the data specified on the label.

If the plug does not suit the socket, let it be replaced with another suitable plug by qualified personnel only, which shall also ensure that the section of the socket cables is suitable for your appliance power absorption.

Never pull the supply cord to unplug the appliance.

Make sure that the supply cord never comes into contact with hot or cutting surfaces.

Do not use this appliance if the supply cord is damaged. In case of damage, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Only connect this appliance on alternating current.

Generally, the use of adaptors, multiple plugs and/or extensions is not recommended; should they be necessary, please use only simple or multiple adaptors and extensions in compliance with the safety rules in force, making sure that the capacity absorption limit marked on the simple adaptors and the extensions and the maximum power limit marked on the multiple adaptor are not exceeded.

SOME WARNINGS:

• Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Do not store the product in closed spaces until it has completely cooled down.
• Do not connect to external timers.
• Do not install the product outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
• The product is equipped with an overheating protection system, which will automatically block the operation of the product if it becomes too hot. So if the product should stop suddenly, it is advisable to turn it off and let it cool down for a few minutes, then turn it on again. If the product does not light up again, contact assistance.

ASSEMBLING THE BASE

Connect part A with part B.

Connect the base you get with the lower part of the appliance.

Fix the base and the appliance with the equipped screws.

USE

1. Turn on the product by placing the switch button on the back of the product on "I"; the product will turn on in standby mode. 2. Press the "D" button: the product turns on "ON" (only the fan works); pressing the product again, the appliance will turn off "OFF" (the fan will continue to run for about 20 seconds). 3. Press "C" for LOW, HIGH, and VENTILATION functions. 4. Press "B" button to set the timer: 0.5h, 1.0h, 1.5h ..... 7.5h.

Press "B" for about 3 seconds, then the temperature can be set. The temperature can be set between 18 and 45 °C. If the set temperature is the same as that of the environment, the product will not start to work.

5. Press the button "A" to switch on the oscillating function. 6. If the product should fall and/or no longer rest on the ground, a protection will be activated which will automatically shut off the product.

Attention: Depending on the selected function, the corresponding indicator will light on the control panel.

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control uses a CR2025 - 3V button battery included.

To make it operative, remove the protective film placed near the battery compartment.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before carrying out any cleaning operation, make sure that the product is switched off and unplugged from the socket.

For cleaning it is advisable to use only a soft cloth slightly moistened with a little water and neutral soap.

Do not use abrasive or too aggressive products as they could damage the product.

The product is also equipped with a filter that we recommend cleaning at least once a year.

To clean the filter, do not open the rear grill, but simply clean it with a vacuum cleaner.

Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.

GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE

This appliance has been checked in the factory. From the date of original purchase, a 24-month guarantee applies to material and production defects. The purchase receipt and the guarantee certificate must be submitted together in case of a claim under the guarantee.

The guarantee is valid only with a guarantee certificate and proof of purchase (fiscal receipt) indicating the date of purchase and the model of the appliance.

For any technical assistance, please contact directly the seller or our head office in order to preserve the appliance's efficiency and NOT to void the guarantee. Any intervention on this appliance by non-authorized persons will automatically void the guarantee.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS

If the appliance shows defects as a result of faulty material and/or production during the period of guarantee, we guarantee repair free of charge on condition that:

• The appliance has been used properly and for the purpose for which it has been intended.
• The appliance has not been tampered with, otherwise it is not maintainable.
• The purchase receipt shall be presented.
• The appliance showing fair wear and tear shall not be covered by this guarantee.

Therefore, any part that could be accidentally broken or having visible signs of use in consumable products (such as lamps, batteries, heating elements...) and the aesthetic parts are excluded from the guarantee, and any defect whatsoever resulting from non-respect of the rules for use, negligence in usage and/or maintenance of the appliance, carelessness, wrong or improper installation, damage during transport, and any other damage not attributable to the supplier.

For every defect that could not be repaired within the guarantee period, the appliance will be replaced free of charge.

In any case, if the part to be replaced for defect, breakage, or malfunction is an accessory and/or a detachable part of the product, Beper reserves the right to replace only the very part in question and not the entire product.
