How to start the chronograph?

Press pusher A to start timing. The subdial hands begin moving.

How to stop the chronograph?

Press pusher A again to stop timing. Read the times on the three subdials.

How to reset the chronograph to zero?

After stopping timing, press pusher B to reset all chronograph hands to zero.

How to use the cumulative timing function?

Press A to start, then again to stop. To resume without resetting, press A again (Restart). The total time adds up.

How to take split times?

During timing, press B to display the split time (hands stop but timing continues in background). Press B again to catch up to real time.

How to set the time?

Pull crown to position III to stop the second hand. Turn crown to set time. Push crown back to position I at the exact second.

How to set the date?

Pull crown to position II and turn it to scroll the date to the desired day. Push crown back.

What to do if a chronograph hand is not at zero?

Pull crown to position III. Press pushers A and B simultaneously for at least 2 seconds. Use A to adjust the central hand, then B to move to the next hand. Repeat for each hand.

How to change the watch battery?

It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional watchmaker. Opening the case back may damage the waterproof seal.

How to clean my Candino C4516 watch?

Start: Press push button A.
Stop: To stop the timing, press pushbutton A once more and read the 3 chronograph counters: 4 min/38 sec/7/10 sec

Zero positioning:

Press push-button B

[The 3 chronograph hands will be reset to their zero positions].

Example:
One or several chronograph hands are not in their correct zero positions and have to be adjusted [e.g. following a battery change].
Pull out the crown to position III [all 3 chronograph hands are in their correct or incorrect zero position].
Keep push buttons A and B depressed simultaneously during 2 segundos como minimo [the centre stop-second rotates by 360^ corrective mode is activated).

SETTING THE TIME TING THE DATE

Pull out the crown to position III (the watch stops).
Turn the crown until you reach the correct time 8:45.
Push the crown back into position!

Please note:

* In order to set the time to the exact second, must be pulled out when the second hand is in position 60] []. Once the hour and minute hands have been set, must be pushed back into position I at the exact second.

[QUICK MODE]

Pull out the crown to position II [the watch continues to run].

Push the crown back into position I.

Please note:

The date can be changed during the date changing phase between 08:30 PM and 12:00 PM; please note that the date must be set to the date of the following day as in this case the automatic date changing does not occur at midnight.

Pull out the crown to position II (the watch continues to run).

Turn the crown until yesterday's date appears (3).

Push the crown back into position L.
