IMPORTANT
Carefully read the instructions for use before starting to use the mixer, and keep these instructions, including the guarantee, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner packaging. If you give this appliance to another person, include the instructions for use with it.
Warning
- Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance is suitable for the local power supply.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, main power cord or other parts are damaged.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Always use the services of an authorised technical service. To avoid risk, only the manufacturer, their authorised technical service, or a qualified person should change a defective cable, replacing it always with the same type of cable, or carry out any kind of repair.
- Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of children.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not connect the appliance or use the control panel with wet hands.
- Connect the appliance only to a grounded outlet. Always ensure that the plug is properly inserted into the wall socket.
- Do not connect the appliance to an external timer switch.
- Do not place the appliance on or near flammable materials, e.g. a tablecloth or curtain.
- Do not use this appliance for any purpose other than that described in this manual.
- No not leave the appliance operating unattended.
• Always place the product on a flat, level and stable surface for use. - This product is not intended for use by children or persons with a physical, sensory or mental condition or without sufficient knowledge or experience, unless they are supervised or receive proper instruction on how to use the product from a person responsible for their safety.
- Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance as it is not a toy.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The special flat beater (5): is used for mixing food, making biscuits, cakes, filling for cakes, and potato purée. Intermediate range speeds should be used according to the type of mixture desired.
The wire whisk (6): is used for whipping cream, beating egg whites, making milk shakes, light sponge cakes, meringues, mousse and soufflés. Do not use this accessory for beating very thick mixtures such as solid fat and sugar. Using the electronic speed control (2) gradually increase the speed until the maximum velocity is reached.
The special thick dough hook (7): is used to mix bread dough, pizza dough and heavy cakes. Do not use speeds higher than position 1.

Turn the safety lever (3) to the left and lift the body of the mixer until it locks in place.

Insert an attachment, push upwards until it stops and then twist it a quarter turn to the left. The attachment is now fixed in place.
- Place the bowl on the base, make sure the marks indicated on the bowl line up with the ones on the base then press downwards and turn in an anti-clockwise direction. The bowl is now fixed in place.
- Turn the safety lever (3) to the left and lower the body of the mixer (1) until it locks into place.
- Switch on the mixer by turning the electronic speed control (2) to the desired position.
- Turning the electronic speed control (2) to the PULSE position and maintaining it there will give you maximum mixer power, however, it is recommended that this function only be used from time to time.
IMPORTANT:
- It is easier to beat eggs if they are at room temperature.
- Before beating egg whites make sure there is no grease or egg yolk in the mixing bowl.
- Use cold ingredients for making cakes and pastries, unless otherwise indicated in the recipe.
WARNING: To avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance.
CLEANING
- Switch off and unplug the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water and make sure no water gets into the appliance.
- Clean the mixer body (1) with a damp cloth.
- Do not use a thick scourer or strong detergents to clean the appliance, as it could damage its appearance.
- Clean all the attachments separately.
- Allow to dry completely before using them again.
- Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products that have an acid or base pH such as bleach.
- The following parts are dishwasher safe: bowl and lid.
NOTE: 5L bowl = a maximum of 2kg of batter.

WARNINGS
- Do not use the appliance is the accessories are not in the correct position or if they are defective.
- Do not move or adjust the appliance while it is being used.
- Do not use tilt or turn over the appliance before or during use.
- Do not overfill the appliances capacity.
- Do not store the appliance in places where the room temperature could drop below 2°C.
- Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures.
- Keep and store the appliance in a dry, dust-free place and out of direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the ventilation duct is not blocked by dust, dirt or other objects.
- Do not leave the appliance plugged in or unsupervised.
- Do not use the appliance for more than 10 minutes at a time. Let it cool down for a couple of minutes before operating it again.
- In order to avoid switching on the appliance too briskly, it is recommended that the electronic speed control (2) be turned to the minimum velocity position and then gradually increased to the desired speed.
ENVIRONMENT
Do not throw the appliance out with normal household waste if it is broken; take it to an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you contribute to protecting the environment.
