Our products have been developed to meet the highest standards of quality, functionality and design. We hope you enjoy your new ELLEGANCE vertical iron by PALSON. IMPORTANT Carefully read the instructions for use before starting to use the vertical iron, and keep these instructions, including the guarantee, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner packaging. If you give this appliance to another person, include the instructions for use with it. Warning
- Do not place the appliance or let it fall into water or any other liquid.
- Do not ll the water tank with hot water as it may deform it.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under the tap.
- Be careful with the hot steam that is released, it may cause burns.
- Do not use the vertical iron if the water tank is empty.
- You can use normal tap water, but if the water in your area is very hard then we recommend that you mix it with an equal amount of distilled water.
- Always move the iron upwards and downwards in a vertical position. Do not use a horizontal movement as it could cause water to spill from the steam nozzle.
- Do not touch the hot plastic parts or the steam nozzle while the appliance is in use. Be careful when turning the tank (8) as it could contain hot water.
- Do not pull the steam hose (3) when the appliance is in use.
- Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance is suitable for the local power supply.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, main power cord or other parts are damaged.
- Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Always use the services of an authorised technical service. To avoid risk, only the manufacturer, their authorised technical service, or a qualied person should repair the product or change a defective cord, replacing it always with another of the same type.
- Keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach of children.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not connect the appliance or use it if your hands are wet.
- Connect the appliance only to a grounded outlet. Always ensure that the plug is properly inserted into the wall socket.
- Do not place the appliance on or near ammable materials, e.g. a tablecloth or curtain.
- Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than that stated in this manual.
- No not leave the appliance operating unattended.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Insert the telescopic poles (3) into the two bases separately, and press them down

cloth and a non-abrasive cleaning liquid. Do not use aggressive liquids, such as petrol, etc.
