General Safety Instructions
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

- Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years old.
- WARNING: In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

If the supply cord is damaged it must be repaired by the Authorized Service Agent to avoid a hazard.

Never pull on the cord when unplugging.
- Do not use the unit with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning.
- This appliance must be installed following the national regulations for electrical installations.

Special Safety Instructions
- Use the device only for the intended purpose.
- To avoid damage from the escaping mist, the device must not be placed on the floor

Do not expose the air humidifier to direct sunlight.

Always place the appliance on a stable, level and horizontal surface when you use it.
- Do not insert any objects into openings on the device.
- Ensure that the device is placed on a firm, flat surface that is not susceptible to moisture, is not raised and that it cannot be knocked over. Do not insert any objects into openings on the device.
Use the device and switch off
The humidifier must be placed always over a flat surface
Place the bottle adaptor in the mouth of the plastic bottle and press to leave it correctly placed
- Take out the cap
- Open the water bottle
- Tighten the cap and water bottle
- Put the water bottle to the bottom base
- Check the voltage, then inserted the plug fully
- Turn on the switch
Attention: It is advisable to use a bottle with no more than 0.5 litres capacity.

• Never submerge the base in water.
- Empty the water from the base unit via the side rim. Ensure that no water gets inside the device, e.g. via the air outlet or the control dial.
- Completely clean the bottle and the air humidifier if the device has not been used for over three days.
- Clean the device using only the methods specified.
- Do not use any solvent-based cleaning products.
- Use only a mild detergent or vinegar/vinegar-based cleaner to perform cleaning or disinfection work.
• Make sure that the ultrasonic membrane always remains free from lime scale so as to ensure a long service life
Disposal of old electrical appliances.

The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
