How to use the Bestron APS526R spice grinder?

Insert 4 AA batteries by turning the compartment cover. Fill the container with spices (max 75%). Press the grinding button to grind. Release to stop. The light turns on automatically.

How to adjust the fineness of the grind?

Turn the adjustment screw located at the bottom of the mill: to the right for a finer grind, to the left for a coarser grind.

How to change the batteries?

Turn the battery compartment cover (top part) to the right to open. Replace the 4 AA batteries respecting polarity. Close by turning to the left.

What to do if the mill no longer works?

First check the batteries: replace if necessary. If the problem persists, contact Bestron after-sales service via www.bestron.com/service. Do not attempt to repair yourself.

How to clean the spice grinder?

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry. Do not use harsh detergents. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

How much spice can I put in the container?

Do not fill the container more than 75% of its capacity to ensure proper grinding and avoid spillage.

Can I grind salt with this grinder?

Yes, this grinder is suitable for salt, pepper, and other dry spices. Avoid wet or oily spices that could damage the mechanism.

Is the grinder under warranty?

Yes, Bestron offers a 60-month (5-year) warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects. Keep your proof of purchase.

Can I put the grinder in the dishwasher?

No, never put the grinder in the dishwasher. Clean it only with a damp cloth. The electrical compartment and batteries do not tolerate water.

How to open the battery compartment?

The compartment is at the top of the appliance. Turn the lid clockwise (to the right) to open. To close, turn to the left.

function - placing batteries

1. Turn the cover (2) to the right to open the battery-housing (3).
2. Place the batteries (4× AA) in the proper manner.
3. Turn the cover to the left to close the battery-housing.

function - grinding

Press the grinding button (1) to grind the preferred amount of spices. The bottom light will illuminate simultaneously.

The coarseness of the spices can be adjusted with the 'screw' in the bottom. Turn it to the right for a finer grind, turn it to the left for a coarser grind
- Do not fill the container (4) to more than 75% of its capacity.

Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.

Don't use any aggressive cleansers.

• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close the mill with the protective lid (7) when the appliance is not in use.

The importer guarantees the appliance against defects caused by manufacturing and/or material faults for 60 months from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions.

1. No charges will be made for labour costs or materials during the warranty period. Any repairs carried out during the warranty period do not extend the warranty period.
2. The importer automatically becomes the owner of any faulty parts that he replaces or a faulty appliance (in the event of replacement of the appliance).
3. All claims submitted under warranty must be accompanied by the original bill of sale.
4. Claims under warranty must be submitted to the dealer where the appliance was purchased or to the importer.
5. The warranty is issued solely to the first purchaser and cannot be transferred.
6. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

a. Accidents, incorrect use, wear and/or neglect.
b. Faulty installation and/or use in a manner contravening the prevailing legal, technical or safety regulations.
c. Connection to a mains voltage other than the voltage specified on the type plate.
d. Unauthorized modifications.
e. Repairs carried out by third parties.
f. Careless transport, i.e. without suitable packaging materials or protection.

1. No claims may be made under this warranty for:

a. Losses incurred during transport.
b. The removal or changing of the appliance's serial number.

1. The guarantee does not cover power cords, lamps or glass parts.

2. No claims can be submitted under this warranty for damage other than the repair or replacement of faulty parts. The importer can never be held responsible for any consequential loss or damage or any other consequences, resulting either directly or indirectly from the appliance supplied by the importer.

3. In case of claims under guarantee you can contact your dealer where the appliance is purchased. Bestron offers you also the possibility to send the appliance directly to our Service Department. Do not send your appliance without consulting us. The package may be refused and any any costs will be for your account. Please contact the Service Department and they will tell you how to pack and send the appliance.
