- APPLICATIONS
- The multi-roaster is designed for roasting chestnuts and cook baked potatoes.
Thanks to its two-sided non-stick grilling and frying plate, it is a perfect allrounder as well. Ideal for grilling chops, chicken wings, burgers, skewers, sausages, vegetables and fish on its ribbed side, the flat one allows you to cook pancakes, omelettes, crepes, tortillas, French toast etc.
- BEFORE FIRST USE
○ Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers before switching on the device
○ Clean the cooking plate on both sides with a soft cloth dampened in warm water and dry thoroughly.
☐ For best results, pour and spread a few drops of vegetable oil or cooking spray on the plate.
NOTE: when turning on the appliance for the first time, you may notice an unpleasant smell or light smoke that tend to be given off when an appliance is new. This does not affect its safety and will not be longer noticeable after a few minutes. Let the unladen appliance heat up at its maximum temperature in a well-ventilated room for ten minutes before first use.
• USING THE MULTI-ROASTER
- Place the heating base of the multi-roaster on a dry and even surface.
○ Set the desired accessory (roasting pan or two-sided non-stick plate) including the lid on the base unit. - Plug the unit into an earthed outlet. Turn the temperature control knob to "HOT" to pre-heat the appliance 5 to 10 minutes.
○ After use, turn the knob to "MIN" again and let the multi-roaster cool down before any further handling.
NOTE: set the knob to "HOT" for roasting, grilling, frying and baking. The setting "WARM" is intended to keep all ingredients warm.
WARNING: the appliance becomes very hot during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces but use its handles, lid and knob.
• ROASTING, FRYING, GRILLING, BAKING
Roasted chestnuts
- Set the roasting pan onto the heating base.
- Score the chestnuts on the round side with a sharp knife. Briefly soak them in water.
- Add all chestnuts in the roasting pan, close the lid and switch on the appliance, by rotating the temperature control knob on position "HOT".
Turn over the chestnuts with the enclosed wooden spatula after 10 minutes and roast for approx. 15 to 20 minutes with the lid on, until all chestnuts split open. - After use, turn the knob to "MIN" and let the multi-roaster cool down.
Baked potatoes
- Set the roasting pan onto the heating base. Close the lid and preheat the appliance for 5-10 minutes on position "HOT".
- Wrap the washed and dry potatoes in aluminium foil, distribute them evenly in the pan and bake for approx. 20 to 30 minutes with the lid on.
- DO NOT use any fat or oil.
- After use, turn the knob to "MIN" and let the multi-roaster cool down.
NOTE: if you wish to roast meat or vegetables on the additional grill plate for the same meal, we recommend to prepare the baked potatoes first. Wrapped in foil, they will stay nice and warm for quite a long time.
Grilling meat, sausages, fish and vegetables
- Set the two-sided plate with the ribbed side facing up on the heating base and preheat the appliance on position "HOT" with the lid on, for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
- Put meat, chops, etc. on the plate and grill on position "HOT", long enough to suit your taste or the food to be prepared.
- Turn over the food from time to time, using wooden or rubber utensils.
- After use, turn the knob to "MIN" and let the multi-roaster cool down.
NOTE: use fat sparingly to avoid splashing.
CAUTION: never use metal tongs or knife as these may damage the non-stick coating of the grill plate.
Frying pancakes, omelettes, tortillas, crepes
- Set the two-sided plate with the flat side facing up on the heating base and pre-heat the appliance on position "HOT" with the lid on, for approx. 5 to 10 minutes.

- After use, turn the knob to "MIN" and let the multi-roaster cool down.
NOTE: lightly grease the plate before cooking the first pancake.
