USER MANUAL CDR1004 Nordic Home Culture

  1. Do not immerse the unit in water.
  2. This clothes drying rack is intended for indoor use only. Do not use outdoors.
  3. This appliance is only intended for drying textiles that are washed and fully rinsed in water.

If there is any residual soap or detergent left, it can cause stains. This is not a defect of the unit.

  1. While heating and in use, the heated bars will be hot. Take care when placing clothes on them and if needed use protective gloves.

  2. The minimum distance allowed, for the clothes drying rack to be installed is at least 0.6m from bathtubs and showers.

  3. Maximum weight capacity: 5kg . Do not overload. Place the laundry evenly to prevent the appliance from tipping over.
  4. Do not cover the whole product with a quilt or similar in order to avoid that high temperatures occurring on the inside.
  5. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

User Manual

  1. Do not leave the clothes drying rack unattended while it is operating.
  2. Always switch off and unplug the clothes drying rack when it is not in use or before cleaning.
  3. Do not operate the clothes drying rack with a damaged cord or plug or after the clothes drying rack has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Bring the clothes drying rack to the manufacturer or the retailer, or similarly qualified person for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  4. Never place the clothes drying rack where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers.
  5. Do not cover the cable with carpets, cable protectors or similar coverings.
  6. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cable. The use of an extension cable is not recommended.
  7. The clothes drying rack must not be placed immediately below a socket-outlet.
  8. To disconnect the clothes drying rack, remove the plug from the power outlet.
  9. Do not use it in an area with gasoline, paints, or flammable liquids.
  10. Use this clothes drying rack only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  11. This clothes drying rack only operates in upright position.

a) Unfold the appliance

Installation

  1. Completely unfold the unit.
  2. Place the appliance on a smooth and level surface near a power socket.
  3. Make sure that the plastic clips are fully to the edge.
  4. Finally: Put some laundry on to test that the appliance is stable.

An electrical socket rated at IP22 is protected against:
Solid objects over 12mm -ex. insertion of fingers.
- Direct sprays of water up to 15^ from the vertical - ex. damage or unsafe due to vertically or nearly vertically dripping water.

Usage instructions [CDR-1000]

  1. Press the power switch to power off.
  2. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  3. Press the power switch to power on. The clothes drying rack will then heat up.
  4. Let the clothes dry. Reposition laundry to ensure even warming and drying.
  5. When the laundry is dry, press the power switch to power off and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.

Usage instructions [CDR-1004]

  1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  2. Press the power button to power on/off.
  3. Temperature control ^ : Has 3 modes (01, 02, 03)
    01 = Low temperature
    02 = Medium temperature
    03 = High temperature
    Press the "▼" and "▲" buttons to change between the modes.
  4. Timer
    Each time is pressed the timer increases with 30 mins.
    Each time is pressed the timer decreases with 30 mins.
    Possible settings are from off to 7. (0.5=30 mins, 7 = 7 hours)
    When the timer runs out the appliance will turn itself off automatically.
    Default setting for the timer is off.
  5. Let the clothes dry. Reposition laundry to ensure even warming and drying.
  6. When the laundry is dry, press the power switch to power off and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
