PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:
1. Do not use this device near water.
2. Clean only with a slightly damp cloth.
3. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave 5
cm (2”) free space around the whole device.
4. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
5. Don’t step on or pinch the power adaptor. Be very careful, particularly near the plugs and
the cable’s exit point. Do not place heavy items on the power adaptor, which may damage it. Keeptheentiredeviceouto

15. Battery Compartment
Instructions Basic operations Switch on your radio for the first time Mains Connection Make sure that all of the components connected correctly. Check that the voltage level required by your equipment matches the local mains supply, namely 230 V/AC‐50Hz. Plug the unit into the wall outlet Clock back up battery - Remove the battery compartment cover - Insert 2xAAA size 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated inside the battery compartment. NOTE: Check your batteries regularly, old or discharged batteries may leak and damage the unit. When replacing batteries always ensure you do not mix old and new batteries and replace with the same type batteries. Listening to the Radio - Set the Function switch to ON mode to power on the unit. - Choose the radio band (FM, FM ST.) Using the AUX/FM/FM ST. band switch. - Search for the station of your choice using the Tuning knob. - To switch off the radio, set the Function Switch to select the POWER off or AUTO mode to off the unit. NOTE: For optimum FM radio reception, extend the FM antenna wire. Aux in function - Set the Function switch to ON mode to power on the unit. - Set the AUX/FM/FM ST. Switch to select the AUX function. - You can put the other audio products through the Aux in jack to play the music.Clock and Alarm Operation Setting the Clock Press the HOUR button to select your desired hour, if you press the HOUR Button steady, the hour will increase quickly. Press the MINUTE Button to select your desired minutes, if you Press the MINUTE Button steady, the minute will increase quickly. Alarm the Buzzer Set the Function switch to Buzzer mode, press Clock/Alarm button, “AL” show on display, Press HOUR and MINUTE button respectively to adjust desired alarm hour and minute. Press the AL/ON/OFF Button to open the alarm. Note: The alarm of buzzer could continue for 3 minutes! Alarm can be OFF by pressing AL/ON/OFF button at any time. Alarm the Radio Set the radio band (FM/FM ST.) which you desired to alarm. Set the Function switch to AUTO mode, press Clock/Alarm button, “AL” show on display. Press HOUR and MINUTE button respectively to adjust desired alarm hour and minute. Press the AL/ON/OFF Button to open the alarm. Adjust the desired volume If the current time is the same as the time which you setting, then the setting radio will be alarm up. Note: The alarm of radio could continue for 1 hour! Alarm can be OFF by pressing AL/ON/OFF button at any time. FAQs Problem Solution No Power Check that the system is connected to a working mains outlet. No sound Check that the volume control is not at minimum setting. Poor reception Adjust the location of the antenna for best signal reception.
