If parts are missing, please contact our service center or the sales outlet where you made your purchase at the latest within 5 working days after purchasing the product and upon presentation of a valid bill of purchase. Also, refer to the warranty table in
the service information at the end of the operating instructions.
- Open the packaging and take out the equipment with care.
- Remove the packaging material and any packaging and/or transportation braces (if available).
- Check to see if all items are supplied.
- Inspect the equipment and accessories for transport damage.
- If possible, please keep the packaging until the end of the guarantee period.

3. Proper use
The Wall Processing System is intended for sanding off plaster-finished drywalls, ceilings and interior masonry, and for removing wallpaper and wallpaper residue, paint, coverings, adhesive residue and loose plaster. The unit can also be used for cutting concrete, sanding wooden surfaces and for sanding down the floor.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

Even if you use this electric power tool in accordance with instructions, certain residual risks cannot be rules out. The following hazards may arise in connection with the equipment's construction and layout:
- Lung damage if no suitable protective dust mask is used.
- Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protection is used.
- Health damage caused by hand-arm vibrations if the equipment is used over a prolonged period or is not properly guided and maintained.
5. Before starting the equipment
Before you connect the equipment to the mains supply make sure that the data on the rating plate are identical to the mains data.
Warning!
Always pull the power plug before making adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Dust extraction (Fig. 2-3 / item 13)
Note:
Connect your tool to an extraction unit or vacuum cleaner. This will provide optimum extraction of chips and dust.
Caution:
For health safety reasons it is imperative that you use a dust extractor.
- Connect the vacuum extraction adapter (13) to the connection (a) and twist it counterclockwise to lock it. (See Fig. 2)
- Connect a suitable vacuum cleaner (not supplied) to the vacuum extraction adapter (13). (See Fig. 3)
- Open the valve (7) if the unit sucks itself too hard onto the surface you are working on.
Caution:
For health safety reasons it is imperative that you use a dust extractor.

5.2 Tool change (Fig. 4 - 5)
Warning: Disconnect the power plug.
You will need the enclosed face spanner (14) for the tool change.
- Press and hold the spindle lock (8). (See Fig. 4)
- Twist the still attached tool until it locks in place.
- Open the flange nut (a) with the face spanner (14) and remove it. (See Fig. 5)
- Remove the tool and insert a different one instead.
• Fit the flange nut and tighten it back up again.
Note: On tools that have a mounting up to a thickness of approx. 5 mm, the fl ange nut must be screwed on with the fl at side facing the tool. Refer also to Fig. 5.
Warning: Only press the spindle lock when both the motor and spindle are at a standstill. The spindle lock must remain pressed throughout the tool change.
Note: Wear gloves to protect yourself against injury.
5.3 Attaching the abrasive paper (Fig. 6)
The hook-and-loop fastener enables easy changing of the abrasive paper. Make sure that the vacuum extraction holes on the abrasive paper and the sanding disk are aligned.
5.4 Changing the brush units (Fig. 7 / item 11)
You can remove the brush units of the steel brush (11) in order to change them or for cleaning purposes.
• To do this, remove the fixing ring (a). This is fastened on the back with retaining lugs.
- Now you can remove the brush unit (b) by: 1. pushing it to the middle and 2. lifting it up and away at the front edge.
• To assemble, proceed in the reverse order.
Note: Wear gloves to protect yourself against injury.
5.5 Adjusting the additional handle (Fig. 8 / item 4)
You can turn the additional handle (4) into the most comfortable position for you.
- Undo the two fastening screws for the additional handle (5).
• Adjust the additional handle (4). - Re-tighten the two fastening screws for the additional handle (5).
6. Operation
6.1 On/Off switch (Fig. 9 / item 1)
Switching on:
Press the release/locking button (2) and the On/Off switch (1) at the same time.
Locking:
Release the On/Off switch (1) while pressing the release/locking button (2).
Switching off :
Press the On/Off switch (1) briefly and then release it.
Restart safeguard
If the mains power supply is interrupted when the switch is locked in the On position, the electric tool will not run after the power supply is restored. For the equipment to run, the switch must first be turned off and then on again.
Constant electronics
This tool is equipped with constant electronics. With constant electronics, the set speed is kept constant even when the tool is working under load.
6.2 Speed controller (Fig. 9/ item 3)
You can select the speed by turning the speed controller (3).
Plus direction: Higher speed
Minus direction: Lower speed
6.3 Working close to edges
(Fig. 10-11 / item 6)
To work close to edges, loosen the screw (a) and remove the side part (6) as shown in Fig. 10.
Now you can run the tool straight along the edge of a wall. (See Fig. 11)

6.4 Working with the wall processing system
- Place the whole surface area of the grinding/sanding disk, steel brush or concrete cutter on the wall.
- Switch on the machine and perform circular, vertical, horizontal or diagonal movements with moderate pressure over the material you wish to work on.
- Use a coarse grit for coarse sanding and a finer grit for finish sanding. You can find the best grit size for the job by carrying out sanding tests.

Caution:
The dusts that are generated while the equipment is being used can pose a health hazard:
• Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask during sanding work.
- All persons who work with the equipment or enter the workplace must wear a protective dust mask.
- Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited at the workplace.
- Never use this tool to work on paints that contain lead!
7. Replacing the power cable
Danger!
If the power cable for this equipment is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after-sales service or similarly trained personnel to avoid danger.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the mains power plug before starting any cleaning work.
8.1 Cleaning
- Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using it. - Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep into the device. The ingress of water into an electric tool increases the risk of an electric shock.
8.2 Carbon brushes
In case of excessive sparking, have the carbon brushes checked only by a qualified electrician.
Danger! The carbon brushes should not be replaced by anyone but a qualified electrician.
8.3 Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.

9. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equipment and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Never place defective equipment in your household refuse. The equipment should be taken to a suitable collection center for proper disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of such a collection point, you should ask in your local council offices.
10. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories in a dark and dry place at above freezing temperature. The ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30°C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.

The guarantee is valid for a period of 24 months starting from the purchase date of the device. Guarantee claims should be submitted before the end of the guarantee period within two weeks of the defect being noticed. No guarantee claims will be accepted after the end of the guarantee period. The original guarantee period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are replaced. In such cases, the work performed or parts fitted will not result in an extension of the guarantee period, and no new guarantee will become active for the work performed or parts fitted.
