Technische Daten

The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line. According to Rule 2 (UNDERSCORE & LINE RULES), this is a stylistic or background line, not a placeholder underscore. Therefore, the OCR result must ignore it and output nothing or only meaningful text. The provided OCR content is "____", which consists of four underscores. This is an incorrect interpretation of the line as a placeholder, violating the rule that stylistic lines must be ignored. The OCR has hallucinated underscores where none should exist based on the GT's visual context. Hence, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.
^1) Measured according to 2000/14/EG + E_2005/88/EC, Uncertainty K=3 dB (A)
^2) Measured according to EN 60745, Uncertainty K=1.5 m/s ^2

The term „power tool“ used in the safety instructions refers to mains-powered power tools (with mains cable) or battery-powered power tools (without mains cable).
1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.

4) Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool's operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
h) Keep handles and gripping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and gripping surfaces do not allow safe operation and control of the power tool in unforeseen situations.
5) Battery tool use and care
a) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used
with another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e) Do not use a damaged or modified battery. Damaged or modified batteries can behave unpredictably and lead to fire, explosion or risk of injury.
f) Do not expose a battery to fire or excessive temperatures. Fire or temperatures above 130 °C can cause an explosion.
g) Follow all charging instructions and never charge the battery or battery tool outside the temperature range specified in the operating instructions. Incorrect charging or charging outside the authorised temperature range can destroy the battery and increase the risk of fire.
6) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
b) Never service damaged batteries. All battery maintenance should only be carried out by the manufacturer or authorised service centres.
Chain saw safety warnings
- Keep all parts of the body away from the saw chain when the chain saw is operating. Before you start the chain saw, make sure the saw chain is not contacting anything. A moment of inattention while operating chain saws may cause entanglement of your clothing or body with the saw chain.
- Always hold the chain saw with your right hand on the rear handle and your left hand on the front handle. Holding the chain saw with a reversed hand configuration increases the risk of personal injury and should never be done.
- Only hold the chainsaw by the insulated grip surfaces, as the saw chain can hit concealed power lines. Contact between the saw chain and a live wire can also energise metal parts of the appliance and cause an electric shock..
- Wear protective glasses and ear protectors. Further, wearing head, hand and leg protection equipment is recommended. Adequate protective equipment will reduce personal injury from flying debris or accidental contact with the saw chain.
- Do not work with the chainsaw on a tree, a ladder, from a roof or an unstable surface. There is a serious risk of injury if operated in this way.
• Always keep proper footing and operate the chain
saw only when standing on fixed, secure and level surface. Slippery or unstable surfaces may cause a loss of balance or control of the chain saw.
- When cutting a limb that is under tension, be alert for spring back. When the tension in the wood fibres is released the spring loaded limb may strike the operator and/or throw the chain saw out of control.
- Use extreme caution when cutting brush and sap - lings. The slender material may catch the saw chain and be whipped toward you or pull you off balance.
- Carry the chain saw by the front handle with the chain saw switched off and away from your body. When transporting or storing the chain saw, always fit the guide bar cover. Proper handling of the chain saw will reduce the likelihood of accidental contact with the moving saw chain.
- Follow instructions for lubricating, chain tensioning and changing accessories. Improperly tensioned or lubricated chain may either break or increase the chance for kickback.
- Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil and grease. Greasy, oily handles are slippery causing loss of control.
- Cut wood only. Do not use chain saw for purposes not intended. For example: do not use chain saw for cutting metal, plastic, masonry or non-wood building materials. Use of the chain saw for operations different than intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Do not attempt to fell a tree until you have a clear understanding of the risks and how to avoid them. The user or other persons can be seriously injured by a falling tree.
Causes and operator prevention of kickback:
Kickback may occur when the nose or tip of the guide bar touches an object, or when the wood closes in and pinches the saw chain in the cut.
Tip contact in some cases may cause a sudden reverse reaction, kicking the guide bar up and back towards the operator.
Pinching the saw chain along the top of the guide bar may push the guide bar rapidly back towards the operator.
Either of these reactions may cause you to lose control of the saw which could result in serious personal injury. Do not rely solely on the safety devices with which the chain saw is equipped. As a chain saw user, you should take several steps to keep your cutting jobs free from accident or injury.
Kickback is the result of tool misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below:
- Maintain a firm grip, with thumbs and fingers encircling the chain saw handles, with both hands on the saw and position your body and arm to allow you to resist kickback forces. Kickback forces can be controlled by the operator, if proper precautions are taken. Do not let go of the chain saw.
-
Do not overreach and do not cut above shoulder height. This helps prevent unintended tip contact and enables better control of the chain saw in unexpected situations.
-
Only use replacement bars and chains specified by the manufacturer. Incorrect replacement guide bars and chains may cause chain breakage and/or kickback.
- Follow the manufacturer's sharpening and maintenance instructions for the saw chain. Decreasing the depth gauge height can lead to increased kickback.
A first-time user is advised at the least to practice cutting logs on a sawhorse or frame.
When sawing on a slope, always stand above the tree trunk. To maintain full control at the moment of „sawing through“, nearing the end of the cut reduce the contact pressure without loosening your grip on the chain-saw handles. Make sure that the saw-chain does not touch the ground. After finishing the cut, wait for the saw-chain to stop moving before extracting the chainsaw from the cut. Always switch off the chain saw motor before moving to the next tree.
Spiked Bumper
When sawing, press the chain saw forward so that the „claw“ bites into the bark. Lifting the rear handle up or down in the direction of the cut reduces the physical strain during sawing. When making a cut, the claw stop can also be used as a pivot point and is very useful in keeping the body of the chainsaw stable during cutting.
Chain Brake
To reduce the risk of injury, the chain must stop immediately once the chain brake lever is pressed towards the hand, as shown in the images. This can not, however, prevent a rebound. The proper function of the chain brake must be checked each time before the chain saw is used.
Chain Catcher
This prevents the chain from being flung towards the user if it comes loose or breaks.
Battery

Risk of fire! Risk of explosion!
Never use damaged, defective or deformed accumulators. Never open or damage the accumulator or let it fall on the ground. Never charge the battery in an environment with acids and easily flammable materials. Protect the battery against heat and fire. Battery to be used at the ambient temperatures between 10°C and +40°C only. Never put the battery on heaters and do not expose it to strong sunlight for a long time. After being subject to heavy load, let the battery cool down first. Short circuit - do not bridge the accumulator contacts with metal parts. The accumulator must be packaged (plastic bag, box) or accumulator contacts must be sealed up for accumulator disposal, transport or storage.
The Güde charger to be used only to charge the battery. There can be malfunction or fire if different chargers are used. Vapours may leak out in case of unauthorised use or when using a damaged accumulator. Bring fresh air
and seek medical advice if experiencing difficulties. Vapours may irritate the respiratory system.
Working Instructions
Accumulators are supplied partially charged and must therefore be fully charged before being used for the first time.
- Charge the accumulator when the appliance is running slowly or stops.
- A li-ion battery may be charged at any time without any shortening of its life. Charging process interruption will not damage the accumulator.
- A li-ion battery is protected by the Electronic Cell Protection against deep discharge.
- A significantly shorter operating time of a charged battery means the battery life is over and the battery must be replaced.

Dispose of the batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.
Li-ion batteries are subject to the special disposal obligation. Have any defective batteries disposed of by a specialised shop. The battery must be taken out before the appliance is scrapped. Damaged batteries may harm the environment and your health if toxic vapours or liquids leak out of such batteries. Therefore, never send a defective battery by post, etc. Please contact your local recycling centre. Dispose of the batteries when discharged. We recommend applying an adhesive tape on the poles to protect them against short circuit. Never open the battery
Maintenance

Take the replaceable battery from the appliance before any extension, cleaning and servicing works.
Carry out a visual inspection before switching the appliance on.
The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and damaged parts.
If the device is defective, the repair has to be made exclusively by the customer service. Use only original accessories and original spare parts. Components for which there are no instructions for exchanging should be replaced by the manufacturer only.
Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries.
Disposal

Waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of together with household waste. Waste batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment must be collected and disposed of separately. Remove used batteries, accumulators and lamps from the devices before disposing of them. Ask the local authorities or your retailer about recycling centres and collection points. Depending on local regulations, retailers may be obliged to take back used batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment free of charge. Help reduce the demand for raw materials by reusing and recycling your used batteries and waste electrical and electronic equipment. Waste batteries (especially lithium-ion batteries) and waste electrical and electronic equipment contain valuable, recyclable materials that can have a negative impact on the environment and your health if not disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
